This is the second time that we have stayed at the Hampton Inn, Southport. It doesn’t disappoint. Very clean, friendly and responsive staff, great free breakfast. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Easy driving distance to restaurants, beach strand, and historic area , but not walkable. Quietness and Hilton Service more than make up for the location.

The front desk was excellent and very helpful. I left my Apple Watch in the room upon checking out the cleaning ladies reported it to the front desk immediately. Unfortunately we were already on the road heading to the airport but the desk was so kind to overnight it to me . Kudos to the entire staff! We will be back !

Nice decor. Our shower was not very warm and the water pressure was not very good. A detachable faucet head would have been nice. Our room's mini fridge barely cooled at all except right at the back and we were nervous about our son's milk being cool enough.

I'm so sorry you had issues with the shower. I do wish the mini refrigerators got colder. I do hope your son's milk stayed fresh. For future reference the ADA rooms all have detachable shower heads. Thank you for taking time to complete the review and thank you for staying with us.

My children and I visited this location and it was way more than we expected for the cost. The area was super convenient to everything necessary. The beach was maybe a 7 minute drive. Local to grocery stores, shopping and food. The hotel was very clean and the people were great. The complementary breakfast was exceptional. We brought our fur baby with us and the there was a nice area to walk them. When we go back, we will stay here again! I would definitely recommend!

It wasn’t the property but the ppl. We came on vacation to celebrate my birthday and wedding anniversary. Saturday morning the phn in our room starting ringing @ 7am due to children playing on the phn. Sunday we were awaken with music playing @ 7am and dogs barking. This location is a pet friendly environment (Hilton Honors). Had we known we would’ve stayed somewhere else. Needless to say we checked out a day early.

You will enjoy staying here
We were so happy to find this excellent hotel online. We came in about 10 o'clock at night and Becky met us outside coming down the sidewalk toward us with a luggage cart. This has never happened to us before and we are still amazed. She said she saw us coming and wanted to help. That was so nice! Then, there were cookies, and coffee at check-in. Extra coffee packets, no problem and with a smile. And, in the morning their breakfast, included, was excellent. Hot omelets, sausage, waffles-vanilla and chocolate, delicious muffins, orange juice, etc. It was great! The only improvement we would suggest is to change out the oatmeal :-) The hotel looks pretty new, it is clean and our two queen bed room was quite spacious. We will stay here again. Highly recommend!

The hotel and property was built in 2019 and is in excellent condition. The swimming pool was well-maintained (we visited in June). The gym was excellent. The free breakfast was handled with great care and service; it was good overall. The staff even packed "to-go" bags with fruit, bagels, peanut butter, etc. for those who do not have time to sit and eat at the restaurant. There are many choices of both casual dining and fast food in the area and the hotel is close to main highways and roads. The staff was friendly and organized.
