Southern Pines Weekend
The house was perfect! We stayed there with family for a wedding and the location was great. We loved being able to walk downtown! As a rental owner ourselves, here is some constructive feedback: the sink in the bathroom downstairs is small and awkward with the large mirror/medicine cabinet above, especially since we had 3 adults sharing the bathroom. The knives in the block are not sharp at all. Everything else was perfect! So not much to improve. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Great house and location
Our stay was perfect. The host let us know that he was available if needed and proactively checked in to make sure we were satisfied or needed anything. I would highly recommend this place. It was a short walk to restaurants and shops and is located near plenty of golf courses. A+

Visiting Family at Penick
We love this property and have stayed here twice to visit family at Penick. It is walkable to Penick and downtown, has off street parking and is clean and quiet. We will be back!

Comfy place close to downtown
Home has everything that one would need. 3 types of coffee, spices, oils and kitchen utensils for use. Gas grill but we didnt use it. Sheets and towels are NOT cheap hotel quality. Showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Open kitchen for large family meals. Decent size fenced in back yard. Front porch with 2 rocking chairs. Walkable to main streets. Swank for coffee, Chef Warren's and Ashten's for dinner are musts! Good bar scene but be aware some places have 20-30 year old crowds, not ideal for 45+ yo. Golf courses are pricey for the quality of course. No high end amenities, nor GPS on carts- turtleback greens are tough

Great house, great location!
This house is just as described in the listing, great rooms and kitchen, really big master suite. We stayed in the winter, so didn’t spend much time outside. Communication with the host was super quick, he even let us extend our stay when we had a Thanksgiving emergency. One of the best locations in Southern Pines, walkable to everything downtown.

Long Weekend
This home was the perfect place for our family stay. We have come to love Southern Pines and the location of this home to the historic downtown could not be beat! Being able to walk to shops and restaurants made for an even more enjoyable stay. The home was clean, and well stocked with essentials. Communication with Jimmy was great! He answered our questions quickly and was so nice to talk to. The ease of everything about this home made for a wonderful week. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect stay in Southern Pines

Perfect property for our 3 nights in Southern Pines. Jim, the house host, was great - simple, timely information. Fenced in back yard great for our small dog. House layout and amenities were wonderful. The complimentary coffee was much appreciated.

Lovely stay!
Visiting our great grandmother in the nearby nursing home, this house was perfect. Just 3 houses away from the facility. Very clean, well appointed home. Jim was great with communication. Will definitely stay again if we can!

We loved the architecture and furnishings of Jim’s rental. It was in a quiet and easily walkable neighborhood and close to restaurants and downtown! Prompt communication. Comfortable beds. Plenty of coffee. Lots of towels. And loved the dog blankets! A wonderful 5 star stay!

Charming craftsman
The house was one of my favorite rentals. It was well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the kcups that were provided and the gas grill to cook our steaks. Both front and backyard were fenced which was a bonus for our dog. Enjoyed sitting on the rockets in front and deck out back. Walked to downtown everyday. Jim was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here again!

Stay on E. Maine in Southern Pines
This was our second time staying in Jim's place. The house is very nice and in a great location with easy walking distance to downtown Southern Pines. Jim is very responsive. I highly recommend staying here if you are traveling to Southern Pines!

Great location
We loved the location on a quiet residential street and appreciated that the property was pet friendly. Our main suggestion would be to add another TV so family members could watch different channels. Also, perhaps it was our low-level technology skills but we could never seem to locate any of the major nationwide networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX News) to keep up with national news and sports. We could only seem to find local affiliates. A handrail on the front steps would be very useful to those of us who are 70+ years of age and a little unstable. We will definitely consider returning when visiting Southern Pines again!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely and very well appointed in kitchen and baths --especially beautiful fluffy towels and bed linens. Great bed and showers--just the best. Fenced back yard was ideal for our pooch who came with us. Great walking area and easy stroll into downtown Southern Pines. Owner/manager very responsive and very nice. Would highly recommend!

The perfect home to ward off the winter blues
I know that most people think of golf in this part of NC but I highly recommend a winter getaway here! First of all, the house is so sunny and bright that it makes you feel like Spring is right around the corner. Second, it is such a walkable area. We had sidewalks to walk our 4 legged companions throughout the neighborhood and more importantly, could walk ourselves to so many wonderful shops and eateries. We could not have asked for a better place to spend a few days to recharge!
