The facilities were great, 3 hot tubs, the sauna is amazing, the view is beautiful and to do the cold plunge into a lake is very special! We ended up staying here another night as got stuck during a snow storm and think we were all happy about this! Such a beautiful hotel to get stuck in. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. The food is delicious - highly recommend to miso chicken & the fish. The kids dinner menu was great. The decor of this hotel is stunning! Highly recommend.

The location was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was great but there were quite a lot of steps to get to our room. Also, tea bags were provided but no kettle to boil water. Minor details in an otherwise very nice hotel.

Very nice new hotel. Rooms are spacious with excellent decor. Also the lobby and eating area is very well laid out with plenty of spaces to lounge about. Breakfast was great too. I would definitely stay here again.

Such good hospitality, loved staying here. We had a car so getting around was easy. The staff are so lovely to talk to and they recommended some great places to eat. The room is small but the bed is so comfy, one of the best sleeps I had.

Perfect location for our final night in Iceland, modern, clean, spent time in the spa looking out over the harbour in the evening and were taken to the airport the next morning by free shuttle bus

We stayed three nights and joined one of the day hikes with Midgard Adventure (ten percent discount if staying at the base camp). The other day we drove between the many sites and took shorter walks.
