Great Family Vacation Spot

Just returned from this magnificent vrbo! Best spot for family meals is the beautiful porch! The best meals we had on the island were from the most delightful cook Pat!! My husband says her tacos were the best he has ever had!!! You will enjoy relaxing in your private pool after a day of sightseeing! What more could you want!

Perfect stay at the perfect house

This beautiful home truly exceeded all our expectations. Totally equipped with everything we needed. Amazing host who went above and beyond to be sure everything was perfect! The pictures are beautiful but it is even more spectacular in person. The rooms are huge and it is such a thoughtful layout. The deck is amazing with incredible biews of horshoe bay. Cannot wait to return!

Southern Views is the perfect family house!

A wonderful house, great location, lovely host Kim! Our family of 7 adults and a baby stayed here with room to spare and it was just amazing. Can't wait to stay at Southern Views again next year. Paradise!!!!

Stay For 6 Adults, a 5 year old and a 2 year old

We stayed a long weekend, arrive Fri and depart Mon. The house was immaculate and well stocked with all of our needs. Kim was helpful in responding to pre visit questions and her tips on island resources were on point. It is a gorgeous location and a luxurious house

Above expectations

The property was great, the best. Talked to other visitors to the island that went to Horseshoe Bay and they dreamed of staying at your VRBO. Recomend the Hartley Helmet Dive. My best day was at the beach when the Cruises were gone. The people were the ones that really made it great…from the cab driver to busboy I felt safe and welcome. Thank you again!!!

Best Time in Bermuda

We’ve been going to Bermuda for years and this was our best stay ever! Southern Views is an amazing home. Beautiful views, comfortable beds and a warm and welcoming home. Perfect for our family vacation. The hosts, Kim and Mike, are incredibly attentive. Answered our questions within minutes and are such nice Bermudians. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a beautiful home that will give you a fun and relaxing stay.

Spectacular views

My family and I had an amazing time at this beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spacious home. It was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The host Kim was very nice, accommodating, and extremely responsive. We spent a lot of time in the mornings on the large wrap around outside balcony. We would definitely return to this home.

Paradise

Our stay at Southside Views couldn’t have been dreamier. Set up on a hill with unbeatable, panoramic views of Horseshoe Bay, the house is fully equipped for a comfortable short or long stay. Spacious bedrooms, beautiful open plan kitchen, huge comfy lounge areas and a 10min walk to the most beautiful beach in Bermuda made our family stay truly one of a kind. Kim is kind, responsive and thoughtful throughout the whole stay, offering helpful information and tips such as a wonderful private chef for my birthday celebration. We’ll be coming back!

Amazing views

We were three couples and stayed here for five nights - wonderful views of Horseshoe Bay! Property was immaculate - kitchen is well stocked and has everything one could possibly want. Beds were very comfortable - we spent a lot of time on the back porch enjoying the views. Kim & Mike were great - excellent communications and recommendations. We used a chef recommendation to come cook at the house one evening for us - highly recommend using her! All in all we could not have been more pleased and will stay here again on another trip back to Bermuda.

Idyllic

I almost don't want people to find out about Southern Views because I want to keep it a secret! Location, location, location! Super close to Horsehoe Beach where we spent alot of time riding waves and enjoying the beautiful pink sands. The house was clean and well appointed. Views were magnificent! Easy enough to get around from here. The Fairmont is empty right now so very quiet spot - you can hear the waves crashing on the beach and can catch the sunrise and moonrise too! We definitely will be back!

Stunning spot for family trip

Our family of 9 (grandparents, parents, and children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Southern Views. The house is lovely and comfortable. The views are amazing. Everyone enjoyed the pool, the beach, and the easy access to some of the amenities at the Fairmont. You can walk beyond the busy beach at Horseshoe Bay and discover peaceful panoramic coves. You can access boat trips from the Water Lot. You can have spa experiences at the Fairmont - or play golf. Kim and Michael Burns are the most helpful hosts. They were very solicitous of our comfort. Thank you for a wonderful family experience.

Beautiful property!

My husband and three children (5.5 and under) stayed for three nights and the house had absolutely everything we needed! The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub the most and we spent the majority of our time there along with eating all of our meals outside on the outdoor deck with ocean views. With the fairmount hotel currently closed getting to the beach was a but harder. We took a taxi just a 5 minute ride which was doable but I would recommend going towards the end of the day when its not very hot dor kids. They had a fantastic time (went at 4pm) the beach was. Quieter and it was a perfect temperature for the kids (no crankiness). Jessica was very quick to communicate with all questions and we would love to come back with our kids. Looking forward to the hotel being renovated so the beach path is open again. Thank you Mike and Jessica for a wonderful stay!

FANTASTIC FAMILY VACATION!!

We stayed at Southern Views for Christmas 2016, it was fantastic! We had a large group so some people stayed in the Fairmont Hotel and some stayed at the house. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We were able to cook Christmas dinner and other holiday meals and all the necessary equipment was there ready to be used. I have rented houses from VRBO multiple times in the past, I can say without a doubt Kim is the best owner I have ever dealt with. She is terrific! She makes you feel at home and is extremely accommodating. She even decorated the house for us for Christmas with a tree and other decorations! Thank you Kim and Southern Views for a fun and memorable family vacation!!

To say the home and views are stunning don’t do it justice!! Gotta stay here if going to Bermuda!

Our family visited Bermuda for a destination wedding and used the opportunity for a family vacation. “To say the home and views are stunning don’t do it justice.” From the time Kim (owner) met us at the home to greet us, to waking up every day to the incredible view of the ocean, to going to bed every night to the sound of waves crashing, to the incredible comfort and beauty of the house, a person could not have asked for anything more. The home comfortably sleeps (8), each with own big bedroom and individual bath. Plenty of room to spread out if weather gets inclement and very well maintained. Easy access to beautiful Horseshoe Bay and many other activities - a perfect location. Highly recommend this property for a family vacation, couples trip or any mixture of friends. It truly made our stay on Bermuda a memorable experience.

Wonderful Trip

We traveled with 4 families (8 adults and 5 kids). There was plenty of room for us to sleep very comfortably and to spread out when personal space was needed. The kids loved the pool, basketball hoop, swingset, ping pong table and living room. The adults spent all the time when they weren't parerting on the deck enjoying the amazing views, can't imagine you could get any better on island. We got to see sunrise and most of the sunset. I know this changes throughout the year, so sunset might be visible at some point. The Harvest Moon over Horseshoe at night provided a cool backdrop for fun conversations and many games of cards. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make large meals, which we did 2 nights of our stay. The grill was very useful. Plenty of ice trays in the freezer so we only needed to make one ice trip in 5 days. Kitchen has plenty of seasoning, we purchase a redundant supply so don't worry about bringing too much. Take stock and then go to the store if needed. The shuttle would pick us up about 25 yards from the end of the driveway on the botton of the hill. This would transport you to the beach where you could access either the hotel beach which had beach drink and food service or the with a very short walk you can access the world famous Horseshoe Bay. Horseshoe had drinks and food but you had to walk up to the beach access to get yourself. The boys got to play golf at Turtle Bay which is on the Fairmont grounds which was a really fun par three with amazing views. You can shuttle to golf course which also has cool sports bar that is kid friendly. Plenty of dining options on the grounds. Make reservations, everything gets busy and its hard to accomadate large groups. Kim the owner was super responsive if we needed anything. Our group had lots of questions, so I am sure we drove her a bit crazy. Too many families involved. All in all, this was a great trip. We hope to be back soon. Maybe just the adults next time...haha. Amazing!

When we walked into the home we were so pleasantly surprised. It was as it looked in the pictures! The view from the wrap around deck was such a beautiful view. There were times when we were more than content to just sit there and take in the view which was beautiful, calming and peaceful. The house offered all the accommodation we needed....sufficient size bedrooms, showers, sitting areas, kitchen well stocked. The location on the Fairmont grounds provided us easy access to wherever we wanted to go. We ventured to the Blue Hole area. Spent a fun afternoon watching members of our group dive from the cliff. We enjoyed a swim in the Grotto Bay Cove. We had a late lunch at the Swizzle inn, and then some ice cream at Bailey's ice cream parlor.....all within walking distance of each other. Our first night there, we had dinner at Bacci's. We took the path earlier that day to see the restaurant and to make reservations. What a fun walk. The restaurant was excellent...good food, good service. One day we decided to rent a whaler, and although six on a whaler is a little much, that was all we could do as that was the only boat left available. Now that was an experience. Some of our group snorkeled, some just swam around. We stopped at a dockside restaurant and bought sandwiches and drink and went to a little island to enjoy. That proved to be a fun day as well. One evening we went to the Waterlot. Great experience.....elegant. Excellent food, excellent service, unbelievable bill! All worth it. Our last day there we rented two seat scooters and yes, the oldest member of our group (80) went right along on the back seat of the scooter. We headed to Hamilton, shopped, saw all the sights along the way, stopped at the Elbow Beach Resort to see a restaurant called Mickey's which was on the beach. Not impressed so we headed home to make our last dinner at our own house and enjoy the deck. Turned out to be a great night. We seemed to be so busy trying to get the sights in of Bermuda, that when we left we felt that we didn't spend enough time enjoying the things right at out finger tips....the beach, the pool. Our memories of Southern View will be with us for a long time to come. The trip was to celebrate the 50th birthday of the youngest in the group, and celebrate we did. Thank you Kim and Southern View for making it all happen.

We loved our stay here! The house is beautiful and amazing! It's very spacious and clean. The porch facing Horseshoe Bay is huge and a wonderful place to lounge, eat, hang out with family, etc. The view from the porch/house is amazing, can't be beat. The pool was wonderful and pool toys were provided. There is plenty of space around the pool and moon gate to hang out while swimming. We traveled with 4 adults and 2 kids (ages 3 and 6). There was a gate to the pool stairs and a baby gate to the downstairs area. The kitchen was huge and well stocked, and having the washer/dryer was so convenient. Since we had small kids we took taxis to Horseshoe bay rather than walking. The taxi ride to the beach was quick and usually around 10.00. We did have 1 person in our group who did the 15-20 minute walk up to the house and said it wasn't bad (she's enjoys walking/hiking). Jessica was so nice and a great host. She showed us around the house at check in, provided contact information for great Taxi drivers, provided recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. She responded to any of our questions or messages quickly and was so helpful. I would 100% recommend this house to anyone looking to visit Bermuda.

Wonderful!!

There were 8 friends who stayed at this property. The house and the views were exactly as they are represented on the listing. The house was amazing! Clean, comfortable and everything we needed and more! The location of the property made it easy to get any where on the island. And the view....WOW! Spectacular! Jessica was an amazing host. She quickly responded to every question I had. I am planning on another trip to Bermuda and hope I am lucky enough to stay at this property!
