A lovely stay.

We recently stayed at the Cart house for a week, it is a beautiful property, very clean inside and so well equipped with everything we could have needed and more. A real home from home stay, the food hamper on our arrival was a lovely touch and a real treat. Vanessa and Jonathan came by to meet us on our first night, which was a lovely touch and lovely to meet them. Vanessa even went out to buy us some tomatoes as I had forgotten to bring ours, very kind of her and very much appreciated. We had a lovely stay, the only little niggle was the road noise, especially early in the morning.

Superb accommodation

We enjoyed a lovely short stay at the Cart House which we found to be superbly appointed and just what we needed. The Cart House is superbly equipped and offers excellent accommodation. We were only there for a couple of days with friends but it was a great base and suited us very well for our short visit to the area. The owners popped by to say hello and they were really friendly and very helpful. We would recommend this to anyone considering a visit to the area.

Early spring break

The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean and well equipped. My young daughter loved the chest of toys and games. Great location, easy to find and only a short drive to Winchester and Marwell Zoo. Would certainly revisit if in the area again.

Perfect little break

What a great stay, full of character! Hosts have thought of everything, the little details make all the difference; books for children, decaf teabags to name just a couple! Beautiful location, easy to get to many local attractions and peaceful enough just to relax in! Will definitely be returning!!

Lovely cottage, we had a great stay

Super cottage, stocked with everything you could possibly need, very comfortable, beautifully decorated. Lovely view. Ample parking and pretty garden. Village close by, is excellent for shops etc. Location is ideal for Portsmouth, Southampton and the Downs. Had a really great holiday, thank you!

Lovely Week

Spent a lovely week at The Cart House and really enjoyed it. The house is lovely, there is everything there that you would need for a stay and it's in a great location with some lovely pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area. Winchester and Portsmouth area only 20 mins away. Would definately go back again or recommend to someone wanting a comfortable stay in the Winchester/Portsmouth area.

Lovely stay, beautiful accommodation

A lovely place to stay. Everything we needed was available, including lots of little extras that you don’t always see. You could tell lots of care had been taken when creating it as a holiday let. Plenty of local food and drink options, and a local shop only a couple of minutes away. The owners were very helpful. Check in and out was easy. Would recommend, and will definitely book again.

Lovey stay

Very clean, all the creature comforts and extras (blankets, umbrellas etc) 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom/toilets made all the difference to our party. Large comfy lounge and spacious kitchen/ dining area with everything you could want. Friendly and helpful hosts. Location excellent for seeing Southampton, Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.

Amazing place

I stayed here with my 4 month old baby, parents and in-laws for the 2024 New Year. I booked very last minute with the owners and they were so accommodating. They were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants etc for New Years Eve. The property was great, big enough for us all, very clean and comfortable and a perfect location. Couldn’t recommend this place more, just perfect
