Hotel das Cataratas, A Belmond Hotel, Iguassu Falls

"This is a very classy and spectacular hotel. The view of the falls is amazing. It was so fun to have the champaign and watch the falls. There is a nice hike/walk along the bluff. The rooms are exquisite. Best breakfast ever. It was wonderful to see all the tropical birds and the coaties running around. The breakfast and pool areas were amazing. The staff helped us arrange transport to go to the Argentina side and that was really helpful. The only issue is the rooms did not have heat. At least the two rooms that we had. The thermostat only went up to 21. I asked for it to be adjusted. They did so but it did not get warmer. I was cold the first night so I got a heater for the second night, but then it got really hot. I was surprised about this. The young lady who checked us in and helped us was first class. Highly recommend the Belmond."

"Towels are old but clean. staff was helpful and nice. location was great and everything was easily accessible. breakfast was not great. juices were watered down, and the selection tasted old and stale."
