We chose this motel partly for the heated pool. The room the pool was in was very cold and the water was not even warm enough to enjoy. The people were very nice.

We got booked into not 1, but two rooms that werent clean. My wife and I ended up with a floor room and woke up to Ants in our bed with our 1 year old son and the room smelled damp. We also wanted to go swimming with our son at 8am when the pool opened. But when we went at 8:15 they had the machine that cleans the pool, doing its maintenance cleaning. We were wanting to get him to swim so he wouldnt be restless for our trip back home.

They did a good job with renovations. Very clean. Rooms were small. Bathrooms were small. The continental breakfast was very limited. Did not have much of anything. Location is very convenient.

For the price, it provided a decent place to sleep, but definitely apparent that they’re under renovation. The room I had looked like the interior was updated, but some appliances didn’t work such as the AC/Heat unit. Must’ve forgotten to turn that breaker back on in that section of the building. Otherwise, the renovations were nice and much needed. Probably be a cozy spot once the face-lift is complete.

Overall we had a nice stay. However, we chose to book this hotel because it had a pool for our kids to use. We were disappointed with how COLD it was in the pool and the pool was warm-ish.

Made me swipe my card with a blank screen on the card reader and refused to give me any kind of receipt. While I understand the need to put a hold on a card you should show people what their amount they are swiping for and you should give her a receipt for that amount. I had no idea how much they swiped for and I still don’t know because they wouldn’t give me a receipt on checkout either

They switched us from The Days Inn to this Howard Johnson’s. It was further from the airport, not as nice - despite assurances - was cheaper but we didn’t get a refund. BS.

This was a stop during a road trip - close to all shopping/lots of food/restaurant choices! Be advised - no breakfast/coffee service due COVID-19 but room was sufficient for our stay.

The beds were so uncomfortable, I didn’t sleep the entire night. You could feel the springs just by laying your hand in the mattress. Also, the continental breakfast was canceled due to covid, but that wasn’t mentioned until after we boomed the hotel, checked in, and woke up the next morning looking for the breakfast room. And that was the whole reason we booked that specific hotel. They didn’t give us any vouchers to eat out, no discounts on the room. Seriously think the world is using covid as an excuse to justify awful customer service.

Room was clean and comfortable overall. Just wish it had been arranged a bit differently to be more comfortable. The rate was decent, but pool, breakfast and other amenities were closed due to COVID so I wish it had been discounted to account for things being closed. Desk staff was very friendly and check in was easy.
