New year ski trip
The property is ok but as others commented previously requires some sprucing up - some paint and new furnishings in particular. The few real problems that I had are very specific however. The gas fireplace is unsafe- it doesn’t have a pilot light so you are basically lighting a gas line directly. Not only is this not safe (as it could explode if not turned off properly and leak gas), it was also so loud that we couldn’t hear the tv.
The downstairs bedroom door somehow was able to lock itself from the inside, locking my daughter out of her room. We had to dismantle the lock using kitchen knives (no tools of any sort in the house!) to open the door.
The kitchen was stocked with the basics for cleaning but didn’t have any basics for cooking- including salt and pepper! Usually these condiments are available for use.
Even though there was a curfew of 9pm
There was noise in one/several of the nearby units every night we stayed there, sometimes loud music, others people people outside shouting well after midnight.
