## Space

Amazing Location!

Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline and only a 6-minute walk to Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos, and restaurants. This is a private studio as part of a boutique 11-unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this unit comes with an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower, kitchenette w/Keurig machine, and a Queen bed. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity. Note that this unit does not have a work desk.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.*

*PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please add your pet to the reservation, or disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.

## Access

The unit is accessed off of Poplar Ave. and has direct access from the parking area and has 1 assigned parking spot, #3. This unit is completely private with its own locked entry. The doors are all equipped with smart locks. The unique access code will be generated and sent to you by SMS on the morning of your arrival, to the phone number on file.

Interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality phone line in case of emergencies (24/7) and our team is available on call, text, or chat during 5 am - 1 am to help assist you during your stay!

Electric car charging (shared amenity)

South Lake Chalet offers 5 EV chargers for our registered guests’ use only. Please scan the QR code posted above chargers to follow payment instructions. Spots for unit 1 have access to one Tesla (white), and one J1772 (black) charger. Unit spots 2,3 and 4 share one white Tesla charger. Spots 7, 8, and 9 share one J1772 black charger. Unit spots 10, 11 and the ADA spot (please park with a valid placard only, to avoid being towed by the City) share one Tesla charger. Please do not leave your vehicle plugged in when not charging to allow other guests to have charging access. Should you require access to another charger type, please reach out to our hospitality team to coordinate access with other guests.

Beach Access Vouchers
All South Lake Chalet guests will receive a Lakeside Beach voucher for discounted, $5 per person beach access, valued at $30 per person, upon arrival. Beach wristbands purchased will also provide a 50% discount on beach chair and sun umbrella rentals from the Lakeside Beach Association. The beach is open between Memorial Day and closes mid-September, depending on the weather. Vouchers are not needed or provided during beach closure months.

Neighborhood

Located within a 5-minute walk to the world-renowned Heavenly Village and Gondola, Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen, casinos, and only a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Beach (private, access fee required). This location is ideal for those working remotely (with Gigabit internet connectivity) while enjoying everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Transit

The Stateline Transit Center and Heavenly Gondola are only 4 blocks away.

For security, there are cameras facing the parking lot.

Comfortable and convenient!

Comfortable room, convenient check in/out system and very responsive team over the phone/text. Only downside is that the room was a little on the small side and heating didn't reach bathroom. Loved that it's pet friendly and EV charging availability.

Great Place!

The place was exactly what we needed. Super clean and comfortable and close to all the attractions. Easy to walk to get to everything. The only tricky thing was the door code system. It was very sensitive and sometime needed a few tries to get the lock just right. Other than that it was great and we would stay here again.

Lovely

Lovely hotel, beautiful location. The locks can be a little tough to work with, but if you read the instructions, you will figure it out. I woke up in the middle of the night to super loud noises and we think it was snow falling out of the trees, but I am not sure if they could have done anything about it. Beautiful place, super clean. Absolutely loved it.

Unit 3 - Beautiful Botique

This was a great stay in Lake Tahoe and would stay again. The only small issue we had was the smart lock was a little finicky and the code stopped working, but the staff answered my call right away and created a new passcode for the door. The walls are quite thin so we heard voices clearly and a dog barking early in the morning, but it wasn't too big of a deal since it was only once. Overall, this is an amazing location, a 5 minute walk to the main shops and restaurant area. Beautiful interior and great appliances/amenities!

Great place with small annoyances

The code lock is very buggy. It takes on average 5 tries to unlock or lock the door. Extremely annoying! The fridge didn't work. It was not obvious also, since the light in the fridge was working, so we left our milk there only to find out the warm milk in the morning There were no available power outlets as well The walls are very thin, you can hear the neighbors snoring Other than that, the place itself is cozy and clean. The location is excellent

Great place!!

This place was so cute! Perfect place for a weekend get away and walking distance to Harvey's/Heavenly. Had a little situation with parking spaces but was able to get in touch with a representative and resolve right away. The door was a little hard to enter the code, we had to try several times before being able to unlock the door each time we would come back. In addition, the TV would sometimes not work, possibly the remote needed new batteries? My partner also developed REALLY bad allergies as soon as we arrived to the room. Continued to make her really congested the whole weekend which was unfortunate. Other than that, the shower was very nice and hot & the rest of the place was so cute.

Came for Daughter’s Wedding

Our room was clean with easy check in/out. The door lock was temperamental. The online listing was fairly accurate but I don’t remember seeing one side of the (high) bed was just a few inches from the wall making it very difficult to get in/out of bed on that side especially with the other person already in bed. This could be hard for an older or less agile person 😆. No chairs to sit on-to be fair not really a lot of room and no shelf in the bathroom and minimal space on the vanity. The courtyard is very pretty. We were here for our daughter’s wedding so actually spent little time in the room so I can’t speak for the WiFi or TV or even the HVAC. Our stay was quiet except around 2:30-3:00am with the loud conversation of a couple of party goers The staff we encountered were very nice and friendly. The only reasons for three stars are the door lock, lack of seating other than the bed, and the awkwardness of getting into bed-first world problems I know-but they were a touch aggravating. The location was excellent for us and walkable for so many things.

Cozy, Clean. Room in a Great Location

Our room was perfect for our stay. I particularly enjoyed all of the thoughtful details that exceeded expectations such as eye masks, slippers, and minimal plastic K cups. The location is a short walk from the Heavenly Gondola and Village.
