We had the perfect, hot summer weather to go for a sea kayak on the beautiful St.Lawrence River. We started out on the large river but quickly ducked down a smaller tributary (the Raisin River) that dumps into the St.Lawrence. Here we spotted turtles and blue herons along the river banks, hiding among the lily pads.

He loaded us and all of our belongings onto his pontoon, took us over to the island, and showed us around while explaining how everything worked. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it feel ...
