Moose Cabin sits at over 8,000 feet elevation in the Colorado Rockies. Guests arriving from lower elevations should stay hydrated and allow time to acclimate while enjoying the crisp mountain air.

No Air Conditioning
Like most homes in South Fork, Moose Cabin does not have air conditioning. The naturally cool mountain climate, low humidity, and refreshing evening temperatures keep the cabin comfortable throughout the summer.

Wildlife
The cabin is surrounded by pristine mountain habitat where deer, elk, foxes, moose, wild turkeys, and other native wildlife are frequently seen. Please observe wildlife from a safe distance and never feed the animals.

Winter Travel
Mountain weather can change rapidly, and snowfall is common throughout the season. Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are strongly recommended for winter travel.

Kitchen & Supplies
The cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. As with most vacation rentals, guests should plan to bring groceries, coffee, cooking oil, spices, and any specialty ingredients needed for their stay.
