Great Getaway
This place was just what we were looking for for our weekend away! The space was very clean and homey. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning to enjoy the view and watch the blue jays. This place is also a short drive from Big Meadow Reservoir which was SO beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Loved the location! Hiking, fishing and nature trails. Walking through the Rio Grande National Forest! Thrilling and Beautiful! My wife and I both gave it a definite thumbs up!
Overall, nice cabin with a great location. Comforters on beds desperately need laundering! Very stinky!!! Aside from that, excellent!

Ponderosa in south fork
Overall a pleasant place to stay for a few nights. The little cabin was clean and cozy. The down side is the traffic on Wolf Creek pass can be heard inside the cabin. There is a black widow living under the wood burning stove. The bathtub is very slow to drain.
I would book this for a weekend getaway again.

Drafty windows/ Heater issues
All, The place was in a great location and very clean. The windows are very drafty need to be replaced or sealed. One room had no heat (not even an electric heater) and there were no extra blankets. The temps during the weekend were around -12 to 12 deg. It was very cold.

Great Cabin
This was the cleanest vacation rental we've ever experienced after years of using VRBO we are sold now with Vacassa. The location is in the beautiful South Fork of the Rio Grande Canyon and strategically located accessing Unlimited outdoor sport activities for the whole family.
The home is comfortable for four people if you're going to do any hangout time in it because the living room TV area really can't accommodate more than four people comfortably. The bedrooms are immensely spacious and well kept all the appliances are in working order (which is relatively rare in vacation rentals!
One previous reviewer was upset as there's a storage unit visible from the back door and a porta potty next to it but it's clearly a well maintained storage area between the cabin and Highway 160 and doesn't reduce the aesthetic in my opinion for anything as you're going to spend your time going out the front door hanging around on the front porch and who wants to watch cars drive by from the back porch? Our experience with the rental staff was extremely easy with all facets of check in and check out.
The cabin was cute very comfortable! The description and pictures make it looks secluded which it is not. It is right next to other cabins we were very disappointed to show up to basically a cabin “campground”. Also, the pictures show a pond right in front of the entrance. While there is a pond it is on the back side on the cabin and cannot be seen from the cabin.
The pots and pans were subpar. Outside the back door to the cabin was a porta potty, conex box, and a bunch of random junk on a trailer. Very unflattering.
While the cabin inside was cute and clean we didn’t spend as much time there as we had planned. We were really hoping for a quite secluded vacation which this cabin failed to offer.

Mountain Escape
We loved having everything we needed available for our stay. The hot tub was also very much enjoyed.
The house was amazing. Everything we needed was readily available and the housewasauper clean Checking inand out was auper easy. We camt wait tocome back ro this beautiful place.
Check in was difficult as another family accidentally thought our cabin was theirs and had already unloaded their belongings (and dog) into our cabin. Took a bit of time to figure this out. Garbage disposal needed to be plunged upon arrival as sink was plugged. Starter firewood was not there but local host said we will be refunded for that. Rest of stay was great and cabin was very comfortable. Hot tub was wonderful, beds were comfortable and having a washer and dryer was very nice.

Well-apoointed cozy cabin with great view
Loved the location, view and appointments at this cabin. Easy access to Hwy 160 and close to Wolf Creek Ski area. Clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels, basic amenities (like TP, dishwashing tabs, etc.) and the woodburning stove and hot tub are great perks. Beds were comfortable and central heat was appreciated during the cold week. Would stay again!
