Third visit this year and it never disappoints. The proximity to the beach, main strip and restaurants makes it worth the stay. Needless to say, the accommodation is 5 star always. Can't wait to see you again for the beach party in September ... I'm hoping !!!

The hotel is beautiful but paying premium prices for a luxury resort to have a toilet that doesn't flush and no solution but to use the 2nd toilet as well as leftovers in the fridge not cleaned out. The stairs to the rooftop patio was very loud and people gathering outside of door. The room was beautifully but the furniture wasn't comfortable sadly. The lady who did the breakfast was really nice!!!

Room was clean and very impressed with the room. Room rate was great but definitely won’t be paying the July /August rates….very overpriced for that time. Couple complaints, fridge gurgled a lot and when furnace ran it was like a rocket taking off….very loud. Was quite surprised with the appliances based on the hotel being very new!!

The Sands is definitely the nicest place in town. The staff were extremely helpful, the room was big, clean and exceeded expectations. You can have coffee in the morning from your balcony and admire the water view, and in the evening head up to the rooftop for a drink and catch an incredible sunset. This is not to be missed!!! Thank you!!

Beautiful rooms This is our second stay. We were not as impressed with this stay. There was no continental breakfast served Thursday July 2/26 No posts stating why. Heavy perfume scents in the hallways. I feel that there needs to be more staff on hand especially during day hours or have the info, needed, posted within each room, such as: Contact number Wifi password, ... Numbers for restaurant. Very unfortunate that the roof top patio has VIP section , that no one told us about , and it closes at 9pm We were not aware that we could have watched the fireworks from up there Which was a much better unobstructed view. I love Sauble/Saugeen beach and will always be my favorite place , not sure that The Sands will be my fave place . .. Will have to 👀 👀.....

Internet was ok but when sitting on balcony needed to keep door open. Breakfast was a cold continental breakfast - could hwve been better. No restaurants on premise, no pool, very low water pressure in shower, and water smelly ( sulphur). Parking is very limited and tight. Location was great, over looking the beach. Area was a ghost town - end of season.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Sands Hotel! The location is perfect — right in front of the beach, with many restaurants, snack bars, and shops just a short walk away. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and airy, which made our stay even more comfortable for the whole family. The beachfront balcony was definitely one of our favorite parts — waking up to the beautiful view and relaxing there in the evening made the experience even more special. Everything about this place made us feel relaxed and happy during our vacation. We truly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be coming back!
