Spring break get away
We really enjoyed our stay at this Hilltop cabin! It was relatively close (10 mins) to the major Hocking Hill attractions and also Grandma Fayes :) The cabin felt homey from the get go. The lay out was great and the beds were comfy. The kids loved running the private trails in the woods collecting sticks for the fire, which also was great! We cant wait to come back again!

Girls’ weekend
We booked this BEAUTIFUL cabin for a Moms’ Retreat. Absolutely GORGEOUS location! The hot tub and sauna were amazing! However, the master bath needs to be recaulked which caused mildew and allergies issues for me. The host was super friendly and quickly responded to questions before and during our stay. Notes: 1. Pay attention to driveway details. It was dry so my mini van made it up without a problem. 2. Be sure you specify the specific number of people staying. If you have more than you originally planned, then contact the host ahead of time to avoid a fine. Extra guests will cost.

I am glad that overall you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. I wish you would have reached out to me about the discoloration on the caulk in the master bathroom. This is caused by the iron that was in the water prior to the iron filtration system being installed. As with all rental properties, we do require an accurate guest count before arriving to the property. This ensures the cabin is stocked properly and guests can enjoy a seamless stay.

Girls weekend
Yes the drive up it is steep but so worth it! It was a perfect place! Clean, cozy, beds were good, has what you need there, beautiful inside! We used the hot tub, felt great and we used the sauna also felt great. We grilled, we cooked, we used there…everything. They had a dishwasher with everything you need. They really didn’t leave anything out that you could possibly need. There was even a temperature stick for the meat. We had 6 adult ladies and each of us said we may have to make this an annual thing now. Even with just two full bathrooms we had enough space to get ready and not be all over one another. We didn’t get to use the fire pit but it looked so inviting. We left on Saturday to go to a winery about 28 minutes out but the drive was pretty. We also went out to The Lodge resort for dinner, it was about the same distance. Any questions I had were answered quickly. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect Fall Weekend
We had a great weekend at this beautiful spot. The view was gorgeous, the place was clean and comfortable, and the house has everything! The driveway is no joke - we almost didn't see it with the leaves, but once we got up we were great. Thanks so much for sharing your spot with us - we would love to return.

Great place to stay!!!
When we entered the house there was a clean warm feeling I got that made it feel like home. We saw deer in the morning just off the driveway as we looked out the kitchen window. We walked the path through the woods and the colors of the leaves were beautiful, absolutely breathtaking!!! Every evening we were in the hot tub where we had great conversations under the stars. The host is very accommodating with information and meeting our needs. I enjoyed myself immensely and would like to go back again soon.

Great cabin for Hocking Hills trip
Our second time to Hocking Hills. Visited with our two kids (infant and 3 yo) and my parents. The cabin was great! Perfect location to all of the hikes! Hot tub and fire pit were fun to have. Would definitely rent again. One thing to keep in mind this house does not have a washer and dryer - I am used to VRBO rentals having this amenity so didn’t even think to check listing. It by no means impacted our trip but after hiking all day, with two kids, might have been nice to be able to do a load of laundry.

Girls Trip
The cabin was everything we needed and more, it really exceeded our expectations. The close proximity to the Hocking Hills parks was a big plus. Host Christina was great, she sent an email midway through our stay to ask if we needed anything but everything was as stated in the listing and we needed nothing more. The cabin was spacious enough for five girls to be able to spread out and have our own quiet niche when needed. The drive way was definitely an added adventure and not a deal breaker lol would highly recommend this cabin to others.

Our Hocking Hills Cabin!
Very Spacious and beautiful cabin! Loved the layout! We had a few very minor issues, but our host was quick to respond and handl them which is the only reason I had mentioned this. The property is fantastic and the scenery is breathtaking! Will definitely be back to this property!

We thought the cabin was even nicer than the pictures show. Bonus is that the hot tub is right outside the door, without a cold walk outside to get to it. We really enjoyed the layout and had a great stay!

Not as clean as I expected it to be. Cigarettes in driveway. There were to be no smoking on premises. Pooper scooper in landscape there were to be no dogs. Beds not very clean at box springs tons of dirt collected there. Bedding and mattress covers need updated. Stains on mattress cover. Overall beautiful place not as clean as expected. Definitely need to do some updates on bed linens and comforters. We had a good time and made memories! Suggestions would be to leave information on how to contact EMS or hospital information in case of emergency. Another suggestion would be leave a notebook or something there to let guest tell a bit about them and their stay. Something for other guests to read. Loved exploring around there.

I am sorry to hear the cabin was not quite what you expected. I did not hear from you during your stay. Had you contacted me about your concerns, I could have attempted to address them. Since taking ownership just over a year ago I have received 65 five star reviews on VRBO and Air BNB, many of them commenting on how clean the cabin is. There is to be no smoking on the premise, unfortunately guests sometimes break rule by thinking smoking is only prohibited inside the cabin. The pooper scooper was left by the previous owner. While pets are not allowed, I did honor guest bookings with pets that were made with the previous owner. The pooper scooper is there for those guests to make sure their pets are picked up after. The bedding is 14 months old and is washed regularly. The style of quilt I chose has a faded look to it as it is a rustic style to go along with the feel of a log cabin. And lastly, in the case of an emergency call 911.

My husband and I traveled to this cabin mid December. The cabin was amazing! The cell service is definitely spotty so I suggest loading your GPS before you leave. There was a trail near the house for a nice hike. Would definitely stay again!

A TERRIFIC family cabin on a remote hilltop
We loved our time in the Hilltop Cabin! The LARGE pen kitchen and eating space were perfect for puzzles, eating, and cooking as a family. The lower family TV room was fun to hang and watch a movie. We enjoyed the hot tub and firepit each night. What a joy this retreat was!

Great family house
We rented this property for the weekend with our daughters, son in law, mother in law and 2 babies. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked as we ate all of our meals at the cabin. The large Jenga game was a hit for everyone to play the game and build with. The only one complaint is the master bedroom was a bit chilly and we didnt realize the space heater was in the armoire until the last day. Also the mattress in the far right guest room may need replaced with one a little more firm. But all in all it was a great place to stay.

Sorry that you didn’t see the space heaters. We have space heaters stored in all the bedrooms in case someone needs one.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hocking Hills and our stay at this cozy cabin. Appointed with all of the necessary kitchen amenities, plus games and puzzles for a fun night after a day of hiking and enjoying the park. Hot tub and sauna rounded out the perfect get away.

Great Getaway
6 friends drove in from out of state and we came down from Columbus for Halloween Weekend. Honestly, we spent most of our time just at the cabin, going to the corner gas station down the road for supplies when needed, and had a wonderful time! Will warn you that you need to bring your own garbage bags and there is no trash receptacle at the top of the hill (it has to down to the entrance). Definitely suggest heeding the owner's recommendation to use a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up to the cabin. The cabin has quick, easy access to all of the great hikes Hocking Hills is known for.

HOCKING HILLS WEEKEND GETAWAY
We had a group of 8 adults and everyone had a great time in the cabin and the surrounding area. There was more than enough room for all 8 of us and the cabin was very clean, well-stocked with essentials and the notebook was a great reference for cabin rules and things to do. The master bedroom/bathroom was a great room to stay in as were the two bedrooms and loft. We all loved the cabin and would suggest others stay there as well. One small problem was a clogged drain in the main floor shower. We figured no one has reported it because the master bathroom shower worked fine. Overall, the cabin made the trip an exceptional experience!

50 th Anniversary trip
House was even nicer than the pictures. Age range of our group was 9-70. Everyone had something they liked best. Fully equipped kitchen, wonderful view, enjoyable hot tub, lots of areas to relax in, lots of hiking trails close by, and nice restaurants. We were really impressed with this house. The drive was a little scary at first but even our rear-wheel drive pickup was able to make it with the instructions provided by the host. Thanks for the enjoyable anniversary celebration.

This cabin is in a fantastic and secluded location. We had a great time hiking in the area and visiting a couple of the restaurants. The only downfall to this cabin is that if you are visiting in the Winter you will need 4wd as it is on a steep incline. Great property and wonderful time!

The house is nice and clean. Cozy and spacious at the same time. We had six adult family members staying and two more who stayed at the state park stopped by for meals. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice campfire one night outside. The driveway is quite the challenge the first time! But it will be a memorable part of your stay.

Beautiful large cabin in quiet wooded area!
This cabin very easily fit our group of 6. We even had spare beds still. It was clean and quiet. The cabin is beautiful. Check in was easy and directions were great for finding it. The driveway is Very steep! They tell you that in the directions before you get there. But you really do need a good 4WD vehicle. Great stay! Would definitely stay again!

Great getaway in a beautiful cabin!
A few friends and I wanted to get away from the city and relax without cellphones ringing and city distractions. This was a perfect place to do just that. We had a very relaxing time and got to see the Hocking Hills trails and rivers. The drive up to the cabin is steep and 4x4 is highly recommended, but well worth it. Would recommend again for anyone wanting to explore the hills.

Very cozy yet plenty of room to spread out. Super private location. Would love to have a winter stay but that driveway is treacherous........ definitely need a four wheel drive or bring something to bring your belongings up that hill. Enjoyed our time. Would highly recommend!

Thanks for the 5 star review! We are glad you enjoyed your getaway. Unfortunately a lot of the cabins in the area have steep drives due to the terrain of the land. Earlier in the summer one of the guests brought a Mini Cooper up the drive with no issues. But yes in the winter big snowstorms and ice can make it difficult. We will continue to maintain the gravel drive so we can all keep enjoying the hilltop escape 😀.

This place was amazing. Exactly as described and more. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for. The girls loved the coffee bar and all the flavored coffees. Boys enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. 10-20 minute drive to all the area attractions. Quiet setting up on top of the hill. Was a great experience.

Very clean and beautiful log cabin!
Stayed for three nights with 5 girlfriends to hike in Hocking Hills. This cabin was exactly as described...clean, spacious and wonderful amenities. We loved the organized and clean kitchen, the wonderful hot tub and relaxing sauna. We plan on a return trip there soon! By the way, Hocking Hills is a great place to hike!
