The Songbird Cabin, minutes from Old Man's Cave, Conkle’s Hollow, and Ash Cave, sits at the end of a secluded lane. Bordered by 110 acres of a private conservancy and 162 acres of Hocking State Forest, it’s hiking trails provide private access to the State Forest. Designed in 2015 with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, it's the perfect retreat for up to 4 people. Guests love the open floor plan wrap around decks, screened hot tub area, and star-gazer’s fire pit. Must be 21 years or older to rent.

House is situated at the end of the road and is secluded and private

The large deck is great along with the views. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and also the wood burning stove inside. The hot tub was a bonus during the evening after hiking all day. Overall a nice place to stay for a short vacation.

Wonderful weekend cabin!

The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. The hot tub is lovely and is on a screened in porch that is very private. BookHocking has terrific signage at the location of each cabin which makes it easy to find.

Absolutely a great stay. My daughter is an avid birder and this cabin was the perfect place. Unfortunately, it was a rainy week, but we were still able to venture out and visit other parks, etc. The cabin was excellent. The only minor conveniences were that we had no bedroom closets to hang clothes and no chest of drawers in one of the bedrooms. Otherwise, everything else was perfect! The cabin was very clean.

Beautiful retreat

A real gem! We had a wonderful stay at Songbird cabin. So peaceful and quiet. We woke up to the birds singing everyday. The cabin is in close proximity to the caves and hiking trails. Everything was oerfect.

Lovely accommodations. The house was clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. We were looking forward to using the fire pit but it was too warm outside. We did still manage to enjoy the hot tub. Very very nice. Would definitely stay again.

We had a delightful stay at Songbird Cabin in Hocking Hills! The location was ideal, situated near Hocking Hills’ top hiking trails, while offering a secluded cabin retreat. The house was well-equipped with amenities, and the hot tub was fantastic. The cabin was cozy for our weekend escape. However, communication with the host could have been improved, as we didn’t receive check-in information in advance. Additionally, there wasn’t a fire extinguisher. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

It was good.

It was quiet,the windows were great. The odor in the cabin was pet odor. The filters in the cabin were overused. I believe management of the basement with the vents need to be reviewed. Maybe a dehumidifer needs to be added to the basement.
