Book a South Algonquin Cottage

"Stayed here as part of a group of eight friends. The main room is beautiful and we loved hanging out there when we weren't sipping coffee on the dock. There was also plenty of space indoors and outdoors to spread out throughout the day, with lots of things to do (as described in the listing). Curtis was an excellent host -- very accommodating, communicative and generous with the check-in treats ;) We had a great time overall and would certainly recommend the place. Be aware, though, that this is an actual family-owned cottage, and as such, it isn't one of those pristine "investment properties" with coordinated linens, zero clutter, and so on. This place has personality and quirks (for example: good luck figuring out what half the light switches do). Bottom line: if a cozy, somewhat weathered and 100% authentic vibe is what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed."

"Once again, we had a terrific family and friends vacation (that includes our fur babies). I was looking for a place to relax and recharge, connect with my family and our friend’s family. We are a go go go family and need a week to just sit, play, and enjoy each other’s company. We are a large bunch with several teenagers and need space and a place that isn’t ‘fussy’. This hit the mark again. Janet was super helpful leading up to our stay and during our stay. Everything you need to know is at your fingertips. If you are looking for a place to wake up, open the door and let the kids play, this is it. "

"Couldn’t ask for a better place for a family getaway that is pet friendly. Modern amenities throughout made for a stress free experience. Plenty of activities to keep everyone happy and space so everyone could spread out. Close to a variety of shops makes it easy to pick up food and anything we needed."

"This was our best cottage vacation! The cottage itself is huge with many relaxing areas to spread out and enjoy quiet time and great spaces to come together to enjoy a meal or play a game as a family. The property has so much to see and do and is very generously equipped. The lake and beach areas are clean and safe and we spent so much time in and on the water. Janice and Simon are incredible hosts. Very kind and easy to access. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great cottage getaway. Simply fantastic!"

"We had a great weekend at Nomi. The staff is amazing, friendly, helpful, and informative. To the room we had, the hotel itself and the restaurant in said hotel were spotless and so clean. And wonderfully done. The room we had itself was also well done and comfy. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant both of which were done really well and tasted amazing. Also tried to book a massage but the masseuse was not feeling well, so she was not in, rather we did the hydrotherapy sauna and steam room instead.Both were so relaxing and peaceful. We booked early, for the reason it takes 3 hrs to heat the sauna, but we had day use of both. Highly recommended.. tried a trail nearby and was amazed. So many nice trails. If you want peace and quiet this is your place. Would have been so much more beautiful and amazing, more then what I've seen if there wasnt such a scandal attached. Which should not reflect on the amazing staff who keep it going."
