The staff were great, always friendly and helpful. The room was clean, designed nicely and had a lovely little patio overlooking the water. The location from the main shopping and dining spots of Sorrento is close enough to walk and the views are superb. I really like this hotel.

We loved the hotel. It was clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The best part was the gorgeous view from the deck off our room. The only negative was the cost of taking a taxi from the hotel down to the town center, train station and/or ferry.

Sorrento with a view

The soundproofing with next door room was very poor and we were woken up early morning by noisy neighbours. Otherwise we found the hotel very conveniently located.

Such a beautiful hotel with the kindest staff ever. They were always so willing to help and took the extra mile to make sure we felt at home. Truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Our seaside balcony room had a stunning view of Sorrento and the Amalfi coastline!! The room was clean and had a very fresh feel with the simple white decor that captures the region's cultural style. It had high ceilings and AC that kept us cool and comfortable in the summer heat. The hotel has a pool to cool off as well, and the walk to the beach is quite reasonable too. It's only about a 20-minute stroll down to the main city centre where you will find a ton of restaurants and shops. We loved our stay at Hotel Miramare and would very much recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento!

Absolutely gorgeous view on a peaceful property slightly uphill from the busy shopping/restaurant district of downtown Sorrento. Staff was nice and offers drinks, snacks and breakfast on a patio overlooking the water and Vesuvius in the background.

Really a beautiful stay at the Miramare Hotel! The room was very spacious with a magnificient view, the breakfast was delicious and the personnel was very helpful. It’s a 15 min walk to the restaurants and boutiques, on a sidewalk, which is safer. We loved our stay!
