Can tell hotel is a little older but our room was very clean. Mattresses were worn and could use replacing but other than that, hotel was in a good location. Great assortment for breakfast.

Loved the hotel, especially the staff. It is at the end of the main drag making it quieter yet central. Room was big, airy and with a balcony! Bathroom was beautifully tiled and big. Many options for breakfast too. Overall, i would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sorrento.

Hotel Ascot was the only relief as a tourist for us during our 10 day trip to Italy. Nice location, 15 min walk from Sorrento station. Easy access to public transport, Walking distance to most port & tourist place. Staff are wonderful & helpful. Their dinner menu was awesome.

Really great hotel and location. Just a couple minute walk from the main area means you are right there but without the noise! Staff was helpful, room was very spacious and clean with a balcony and view of the sea. Breakfast was included and quite extensive. Didn’t get to the pool as there was so much else to do in the area.

Nice hotel Clean and in a good location We had road noise coming into the room all day and night. The breakfast was OK only issue was the bacon and eggs were cold all the time. There were not heaters placed under the serving tray to keep them warm.

Nice hotel in Sorrento

Our room was nice if a little dated. Nice bathroom. Cute little balcony. AC worked well. Staff was nice but some of them didn’t speak English very well so bring your translator. Cute garden bar. Excellent location.

Overall I am glad we stayed here. It was a good location, very walkable to everything we wanted to do. The outdoor patio / rooftop and pool were nice and staff very friendly and accommodating. Only complaint was the room itself was very average and could stand to be updated. Also we were supposed to have a balcony room and it was only a few inches out the door whereas other people had full balcony’s with tables and chairs which would’ve been nice. We were close to the rooftop though so just went out there instead. Again, would overall recommend for good location.

The staff are very friendly. The room is spacious and clean. The balcony has a stunning view of the mountain and the beach. The location is excellent. There are a convenience store, a grocery store and a pharmacy right next to it. Corso Italia is 2 minutes away from it. All main attractions are within a walking distance. The hotel is on a busy street. The noise of the cars and motorcycles lasts till late night, but It was not a problem for us. The toiletries included liquid hand soap, 2 shower caps, 2 plastic cups and a dispenser for the shampoo. We enjoyed our stay there! I highly recommend it!

Ascot hotel comes highly recommended! A family owned hotel in a prime location. All restaurants and shopping is down the street. The hotel is quaint with an old Italian feel. It’s not a luxury hotel if that’s what you prefer . Our group of 8 agree and we would definitely stay here again. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating . They all spoke English as well as Italian. With all the fine restaurants in Sorrento we never ate at the hotel with the exception of a complimentary breakfast ( which was fine).

It’s a beautiful hotel, but be aware of the road noise. Request a room in the back to be able to sleep. The main road is nonstop, even at the wee hours of the morning. I had a front room with a great balcony but didn’t use it do to how incredibly loud the traffic is..
