Wine Country Getaway under the Oak

This newly renovated and freshly decorated 2 bedroom 1 bath home feels like your favorite sweater. Completely renovated and redecorated, the home features everything you would want in a home away from home! New Beautyrest beds, flat screen TV's in Living Room and each bedroom. Outdoor space calls to you, with its beautiful firepit and sectional sofa curved around it, all in a private fenced courtyard under the gracious towering Oak namesake. This is our 3rd vacation rental and we travel a lot ourselves; we really understand what our fellow travelers want in a home away from home. Fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare a meal from scratch, heat up leftovers, or bring in from any one of the many local restaurant choices. You'll love sipping a glass of wine in the evening, basking in the warmth of the gas firepit, as the gently gurgling of the waterfall soothes away your tensions and you get into SlowNoma-Speed!

This was a beautiful property. Very clean and had everything we needed and close to restaurants and local wineries that are just breathtaking. Would stay here again!

Relaxing weekend getaway

Needed a place to stay for a 5K in Sonoma and this was the perfect spot. Just a short ride away from Sonoma Plaza and local wineries, plus just a few minutes away from some great restaurants. Would definitely recommend for a small group for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Even better than expected!

For once, the rental was better than the photos! Quiet neighborhood, beautiful outdoor space, and amazing foosball table in the downstairs game room. We look forward to staying again.

Cozy and clean

This was a great place to stay! Everything was clean, the living room and kitchen were spacious, and the beds were comfortable! Location was great and the coffee shop (Barking Dog Roasters) just down the street was wonderful. We will consider this place again when we return to the Sonoma area!

Great House with Great Location

Great house with all the amenities of home in a quiet little neighborhood only 5-10 minute drive to Sonoma square. Great outdoor space for relaxing with a glass of wine and/or grilling dinner.

Amazing Sonoma Hideaway

If you’re looking for a casual, nicely appropriated place to stay for your Sonoma visit, this is it! We loved the proximity to Sonoma Plaza and walking distance to amazing restaurants (El Molino is fantastic as is Barking Dog Coffee). Sonoma is such a chill vibe vs. Napa and we just appreciated everything about this rental.

Lovely for small group/family

The property was the perfect location to serve as a mid-way between Napa and the Sonoma Coast/Russian River Valley wineries. We loved the proximity to delicious Mexican food and Sonoma square. We were not able to enjoy the patio area, but it would be lovely in the warm summer months.

We loved the quiet location near the sonoma plaza. The house was clean and well stocked. Theresa sent her housekeeper over when we discovered the propane tank for the BBQ was empty. The front terrace area was lovely with a large couch around a fire pit and a fountain. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Very clean rental

Everything seemed well cleaned. The beds were comfortable for us, with a couple in one and a teenager in the other. Bring your own olive oil or butter if you use either. Kitchen has everything else to make basic meals. Nest thermostat to keep temperature how you like it.

Sonoma Mother Daughter

Great place with a wonderful outdoor seating area and firepit. Only one thing would have made it better which was outside of the owners control. The neighbor had two large dogs that barked a lot. Thankfully they took them inside around 10:30 or 11:00pm so we were able to sleep fine. This was a very lovely home and very nicely decorated. We would stay here again.

The house was amazing and beautiful. My daughter utilized the exterior for several fantastic photos for her Instagram account. A drawback is the TV. We were finally able to log into our Max account, but the TV is difficult to use.

A quick stay in Sonoma

After two weeks in Hawaii, we decided to stay a couple of extra days in the gorgeous Wine Country of California before heading back East. This house is SO close to a couple of our favorite wineries - it was a perfect find!! We arrived in the dark and it was pretty difficult to see the number of the house, but we just tried the code to the door lock and it opened! We knew we were in the right place. The house is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for cooking. The half bath in the space downstairs was an added bonus - not to mention the fun games! There is a washer and dryer available for use, too! The front yard is set up as an outdoor living space and is quite beautiful. Eateries and food shopping are very close by! I can't say enough about this house! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Hot, Hot, Hot

The house and property were very nice. The house was equipped with all the amenities you will need. Our group stayed for 4 days, and 3 nights while visiting Sonoma. The weather was around 95 degrees while we were there. The day we arrived (around 5:00 p.m.) the house temperature was 88 when we arrived and it took hours to cool it. The next day when we returned the house was again around 88 degrees. I emailed the owner because we realized they were controlling the air conditioner during the day through "the nest" and apparently they turn it off around 11:00 a.m. each day. We were really upset. Especially after cooking our meal in the oven - the kitchen was like a furnace. The owner apologized and stated in a message to me that the A/C does not work well in "high" temps. I told her to please disable the nest so we can control the A/C. The next morning it again turned off at 11:00. I emailed her and she said she asked her husband to lower it to 78 and that she would check on her way home the temperature. When we returned the house temperature was set at 74. However it felt like 78. We loved the house! However as a hostess you are responsible for taking care of your clients when there renting. Turning the A/C off is inappropriate no matter what the temperature outside. And if you know this is an issue either way put window units in and blackout curtains so your guest are comfortable. Very disappointed. Really ruined our trip to Sonoma valley.

We did a girls' spa/wine tasting weekend, and this house was perfect for that! It is so comfortable and inviting, from the way it is decorated inside, to the zen spaces outside, to the incredibly comfortable beds. We absolutely loved it and would stay here again for sure. The location was very close to several restaurants and was easy to drive to or Uber.

Host was excellent! Outdoor patio was wonderful for relaxing. Location was perfect. We would have loved a few extra pillows for the beds. Beds were a little soft for someone with back issues. Other than that we had a great stay.

This is the rare VRBO where the pictures don't do it justice! Nicely furnished, kitchen is fully equipped for actual cooking (i.e., gas range, kitchen tools, etc.), the front patio is awesome! Communication with the hosts was prompt and courteous. Would definitely stay again.
