The Sonoma Nest, A charming farm experience

A gem hidden away in THE TOWN of Sonoma -Wine country. A sweet 1.5 mile bike ride to the town square. A three acre rescue /sanctuary farm with a charming cottage adjoined to the farm "Sonoma Chicks Farm"
A freestanding cottage, surrounded by the farm animals, 3 excitable farm dogs... 4 Goats, a pig, 100 pound Tortoise, geese, ducks, chickens, roosters, rabbits, quails, parakeets, cats, you name it, - it lives here.
This is a space for people who wants a taste of farm life, with all of its perks and realites. You will wake up when the farm wakes up - thanks to the roosters... Earplugs provided for city folks.
This is a very unique and lovely experience. An oppertunity to sit down, - breath and enjoy the love from the animals. The farm can be viewed on intagram @sonomachicks . www.sonomachicks.com

So cool!
This was such a great way to wind down while taking in the beauty of Sonoma. We had such a great time with the animals while learning about how the owner gives back to the community and takes care of orphan animals. Highly recommend for anyone that loves animals and loves a country setting.

Unique spot for Wine Country stay
This property is amazing! Comfortable, clean, and so convenient to all things Sonoma and Napa. Tania is an artist which shows in her beautiful decor (of which many of her own work adorns the walls). The animals are loves especially the goats! Stay here if you are looking for a hotel alternative with character. There’s no kitchen so be prepared to dine out (there is a fridge so we bought breakfast items to have). Bed is extremely comfortable. Had no issues sleeping, the farm sounds weren’t loud in my opinion.

Weekend getaway
The nest was a very charming cottage on a working rescue farm. We got to visit with the animals on the farm and learn about their individual stories. Our hostess was also charming and very welcoming in addition to being a fantastic photographer of the animals.

Sweet Escape
Tania's property is incredible, the space is clean, super comfortable and impeccably decorated. It was nice to be a little outside of the downtown Sonoma area while being so close to it as well. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom and shower were large and very clean. I highly enjoyed the property and getting to know Tania, I recommend the property and can't wait to visit again!

A sanctuary for the soul
What a unique and fabulous experience. Tania, the host, was amazing, we enjoyed visiting with her and learning about all her delightful rescue animals. The cottage was perfect, quaint, all we needed and clearly has been given the artists touch. We will be back!

Charming small farm setting
My wife and I absolutely loved our experience here, and I had no idea that my wife was going to enjoy the unique animals, as much as she did. The downside were a few items missing that I believe are a must. No freezer for ice, just a small refrigerator. No wash cloths. No Iron & Ironing board. No night stand on one side of the bed, and a small fan would have been nice to get the steam out of the bathroom. Other than these items, the place was great!

Heaven
If Heaven is a place, I want it to be like this cozy, peaceful cottage with its super comfy bed; big walk in shower with lavender smells, a glass of wine with chocolates in the evening, and in the morning, a hot cup of coffee while being greeted by three "so happy to see you" family dogs. Then, when you're ready, you can wonder over to the farm and say hello to the many chickens, turkeys, rabbits, and geese. The goats, pigs and turtle will charm you as well. Spend as little or as long as you want, then venture into Sonoma (a very short distance), or other nearby towns for shopping, eating, or wine tasting. In all the places I've stayed, this is by far the best and has left the biggest impression on my heart. Thank you Tania for being such a gracious host and great mama to all the animals at Sonoma Chicks.
