Spectacular Oceanfront Surfsong Condo 2 BR 2 Bath

This well appointed beach and race track rental in Surfsong is a 2 bedroom / 2 full bath unit with ocean views throughout. Surfsong is BY FAR the most modern, updated, and luxurious complex on the Solana Beach bluff, including elevators from the gated underground parking lot with reserved parking for 2 cars, and it is the only complex on a quiet cul-de-sac street. This unit has the Master Bedroom on the ocean side with a great view. Many of the other oceanfront condos in this area have a master that is not on the ocean side if you look carefully.

Within walking distance to beaches and the racetrack, this unit is perfectly positioned for both. Also within walking distance are the village of Solana Beach and its Cedros Design District where you will find numerous dining and shopping establishments...you never even have to use a car!

However, if you wish to drive by car or Uber, there are many local attractions within 10-15 min such as hiking at Torrey Pines State Beach, exploring nearby beach towns of Del Mar and Encinitas, world-class golf or spas (Torrey Pines, Aviara, La Costa, etc.). There are many family-oriented attractions nearby, such as Legoland, the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, SeaWorld, etc.

You can also walk to the train station which takes you downtown for a Padres game or to experience the vibrant nightlife of San Diego, including areas like Little Italy, Gaslamp, Seaport Village, Coronado, etc.. Heading north on the train gets you to Orange County, Laguna, Newport, etc. Just a bit farther are Los Angeles and Disneyland and the rest of LA area attractions.

The unit itself is well equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, tennis and pickleball racquets, etc. The kitchen is well appointed, including Keurig pod coffee maker, drip coffee maker, blender, etc . Flat-screen TV's are located in both bedrooms and the family room. Free WiFi and cable TV are included. The home has been remodeled and feels refreshingly new with stylish beach-themed decor. The floor plan is open and enjoys expansive ocean views from just about the entire home.

Regardless of all there is to do nearby, it’s never a bad option to take a dip in the complex’s heated pool or hot tub, play tennis, or just sit back and relax on the deck with your coffee or wine and enjoy the coastal California lifestyle! The deck spans the entire unit and sports fabulous sunsets and views up and down the beach. You can watch surfers and even dolphins playing in the waves, and occasionally whales (in season).

Close to beach access. Amenities there- but we didn’t have time to go to the pool of play tennis. Views from the condo are unrivaled. Dolphins early in the morning, great sunsets. Place was clean and easy to navigate. Everything worked and furniture was very comfortable.

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful property, wonderful host - awesome location. Highly, highly recommended! One of our families favorite VRBOs we’ve ever rented. You can’t beat the view of the ocean and the proximity to the beach, small downtown and even San Diego.

We were very pleased with everything. The ocean was basically right outside the condo. Great restaurants are within walking distance or a short drive. Great location for highway access. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice.

Walkable to beach, train, Cedros Design area and restaurants. View of ocean from deck and inside condo which was great because sometimes it was too chilly to sit out on the deck. Very comfortable.

Great Quiet Location with Amazing Views

This is the second time we have stayed at the SurfSong Condo Complex. First time at this unit. It is located on a bluff with 180 degree views of the Pacific and incredible sunset views. Bed is very comfortable along with pillows. Very close to gyms, beach, shopping etc. We had a great time and highly recommend this unit.

Paradise in Solana Beach

This condo was amazing. View is incredible. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen stocked just about everything you need to cook dinners. Walk to the amazing beach in 3-4 minutes. Pool was absolutely perfect as well.

Slice of Heaven in Solana

We had a wonderful stay at Fred's beautiful condo. The unit was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and peaceful. Sitting out on the terrace to listen to the crash of the surf was sublime. It was easy to walk to food and shops in Solana Beach (not to mention the beach itself! Fletcher Cove is right nearby). Fred was communicative, responsive, flexible, and kind. If he'll have us, we'll be back!

Breathtaking Views

We love the serenity of the ocean and this condo provides breathtaking views from the balcony with the ocean breeze, the coffee nook and master bedroom. Dining, shopping and beach access all within easy walking distance. Driving up to the Temecula wine country, down to La Jolla or downtown San Diego was a breeze. Fred was very responsive, accommodating a later checkout and checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. The ocean cliff side pool and hot tub was like a private oasis this time of year. We will absolutely return!

Beautiful ocean views

Appreciated the generous supply of paper goods and dish washer, washing machine soap. The ocean front unit is comfortable, perfectly located and provides spectacular ocean views. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. That said, the whole unit needs updating. Inspiteof this complaint, we had a wonderful 2 week stay.

Excellent Condo, Location and Views!

Location was excellent and the view of the ocean was spectacular! Sunsets were amazing! Very quiet building (which is a plus) and it was clean and orderly. This 2 bed 2 bath unit was exactly as advertised. We were able to easily walk to Fletcher’s Cove beach and we walked to several restaurants as well as the nearby Gelato shop! CVS pharmacy is one block away if you happen to forget something. We wanted to relax and unwind and listen to the ocean waves! ❤️. Also, there is excellent cycling along the PCH with well marked bicycle lanes so you can ride and stay away from the cars. We’ll be back soon!

Spectacular.

This home is spectacular in every way. The views are beautiful. You can see the Ocean from the living room, dining room, kitchen, widows watch and bedroom. The furniture has all been updated- so the pictures don't really reflect the great vibe of the place. The new large dining room table and chairs are a beautiful dark stain wood with comfortable seating for 6. The couch and side chairs are brown leather. Decorating has been updated. The place is large and bright. Kitchen stocked nicely. Fresh white linens and towels. Impeccably clean. The bonus of beach chairs and beach towels were great. Fans, heater, iron and extra pillows and blankets was a nice touch. The location is A, a quick 2 walk to the beach, wonderful restaurants and coffee and bars. 2 Parking spaces were great when guests came. We've stayed in many VRBO's and a few in Solana and this was our favorite. Our host was accessible and checked in with us to offer his cleaner to come in since we were there for an extended stay, Well appointed with thoughtful design. I cannot say enough good things.

Did Property Management for 20 years…complex laid out nicely and cannot beat this view, first floor unit. AC unit definitely helped in master, clean…noticed a few updates from original photos. I am all about design…appreciate the extra touches. Layout/floor plan works.
