"Voor wie houd van een gemoedelijke en ongedwongen sfeer is dit zeer goed, de mankementen aan het huis neem je er bij. De accommodatie heeft renovatie nodig maar dit zal de prijs opdrijven. De eigenaar heeft steeds een vriendelijke babbel en heeft interesse. Om te parkeren op de straat heb je een parkeerbewijs nodig , dit krijg je gratis van de eigenaar. Heel mooi stadje met kasteelruïne. We vonden het heel aangenaam, het is wel compleet iets buitengewoon!"

"Das Haus ist insgesamt großzügig bemessen (insbesondere das Badezimmer) und technisch gut ausgestattet. Die Sauberkeit im Erdgeschoss war eher mangelhaft (Essensreste an den Küchenutensilien, Fliesen klebrig, verschmutzter und teils mit Grünspahn überzogener Balkon, Teppich im Wohnzimmer stark verschmutzt und bedeckt mit Haaren). Im OG alles o.K..Wegen der Nähe zur Zubringerstraße (Sorpesee) enorme Geräuschbelästigung durch Motorradfahrer und Sportwagen-Geilos am Wochenende von Mittags bis zum...

"Good hotel, friendly staff. Particularly breakfast. My only complaint would be that they closed the restaurant early when I stayed on a Tuesday night. "

"I stayed in this hotel due to the fitness facilities advertised even though it was a little further from where my business meeting was the next morning. When I arrived at 8pm I was told that the Restaurant would close at 8.30pm and the gym at 9pm. I joked that I would have to decide whether to eat or go to the gym and was told I could do both very quickly. I decided to use the gym and walked to a supermarket after to buy some food. When I used the gym I was told that although it only opens at 8am (way too late if travelling on business), there may be an option for the caretaker to open it up earlier if arranged with reception. I don't know how this hotel got a four star rating base don the room I stayed in. It was very dated, there was no fridge (just a screwed shut cupboard in its place), no coffee making facilities and only very basic all in one wash in the bathroom - no moisturiser or shampoo and conditioner etc - all items I would expect in a 4 star hotel. The sockets in the bathroom were exceptionally dirty. Whilst all the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful, I must say I was very disappointed with this hotel considering its star rating. Oh and there was no air con and the nearby motorway was very loud when the window was open."
