My niece was participating in the NM State Science Fair which was held at the school New Mexico Tech. The hotel was a good choice for location for lodging during that time. Thank you.

We have stayed at this motel three times and it is usually at least okay. But we were in the older section of the main building this time and it was really noisy.

I asked for a down stairs room as I am handicapped and they do not have elevators. I get there and they put me on second floor. I physically cannot do stairs so I asked to cancel. The gal at front desk had no problem about cancelling but said I had to call Hotel.com customer service. I did that and they did everything they could to help me and I appreciate that. I get an email the next day and Best Western refused to refund my money due to their policy. That was over 200.00 for nothing. Way overpriced and no elevator. Never again and I am a Best Western rewards member. They could have called to let me know they didn't have a down stairs room. I put my notes in as I was booking my room.

Best Western hotel in socorro, nm
I just stated two nights but, it's good. The room was clean a surprisingly comfortable bed and pillows. It had a couch, love seat and a coffee table. The parking lot was clean. I'd recommend this hotel and definitely would stay there again.

Friday, 20.Oct.23 Rm: 204. $175.00 with taxes for one night. The hotel is perpendicular to the main street in front and Interstate-25 in back. The lower-numbered rooms are farther from the freeway. Was quiet Friday night. King bed is soft. There're lamps on both sides with plugs for electronics. Round dining table with two chairs; rectangular table with office chair and nearby plugs for electronics. Relatively quiet combo air-conditioner/heater Sink is outside of komode and shower. Everything clean and working. Larger refridgerator did not, thank goodness, freeze our food as did one in another motel. Two mirrors, one full-length. Potless coffee-maker with cups & coffee. 4 stars for high price and shower...weak spray and head too high for 5'2" to adjust.

Nice clean room, everything worked, easy to find and park at. The breakfast was hearty and fresh, with a good buffet selection for a roadway hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The location is very noisy with cars/traffic at all hours of the night. The lobby and eating areas were very warm due to A/C problems. The exercise room didn't have wipes to clean machines after use. The front desk personalities were not very welcoming. However, the breakfasts were delicious and the eating area was clean and accommodating.

Nice facility. A little old fashioned where you park you car outside your room that is accessible from the outside. It is pretty modern on the build and the amenities.
