I wish I could give 100 stars!
This was by far the best VRBO experience I’ve had, and I haven’t had any bad ones. The hosts goes over and beyond expectations with communication at the time of booking, prior to booking, and even during our stay. We were sent very detailed instructions for check-in, directions, parking, and contacts for any issue. We had to call twice due to our own problems (kids splashed a little too much water out and we had our vehicle slide a little in the driveway), both calls were promptly answered and they followed back up to make sure we worked it all out. The house is beautiful, clearly well maintained and managed directly by the owner, and has any and all kitchen things you could need. They even provided coffee, snacks, and complimentary drinks to name a few of the personal touches. We have rented properties for the last five years at Snowshoe and this was the best property Ive ever seen and the care Nancy shows to her guests is over and beyond expectations!

Snowshoe Mountain Christmas Getaway
This was a very well maintained property with an excellent host who was attentive to all of our needs. It is a beautiful property with many amenities, spectacular views, and a great place to visit in a beautiful region of the eastern USA.

Impressed with this property. All the amenities including the location were exceptional. Spoke with the property manager on arrival and once during the stay. She was very friendly, quick to respond and very helpful. We would definitely return. Wonderful property.

Family vacation
Our family vacation was amazing! The house was beautiful, the owner was very friendly, hospitable and accommodating. The mountain foliage was breath taking. Foxwood had all the comforts needed from a gourmet kitchen to all the amenities one could want. We hope to come back again!

Beautiful and quiet vacation
The property was amazing and the views were beautiful! We all loved the hot tub. The house was very close to Snowshoe Village. We didn’t have any cell service and the internet wasn’t working for the first day. We were able to get ahold of the property manager with the landline and got the internet going again. My only complaint is that we didn’t know the entire mountain closes down for the month of April. We only found this out after we arrived. We had to change our plans for activities and eating. We had to cook in for every meal because there weren’t any restaurants open. We spent a lot of time just hanging out at the house. Even the roads to the trail heads were closed. Now that I know this, I will plan to return when everything is open because it looked really fun and nice.

You MUST stay here
This property is absolutely fantastic, is better than the listing, and is more well-stocked than any place we’ve ever stayed. Wildlife out the doors and windows, close proximity to the village, yet far enough away that it feels like you’re the only people on the mountain. We will undoubtedly be back!

Unforgettable Family Ski Trip
When we travel with our family we love to cook. The kitchen at Foxwood is designed well and we were able to gather around the island and ‘help’ the cook without feeling crowded. There is ample living space for family time and furniture is comfortable. The location is great! A short drive or shuttle to the village and slopes but still quiet and private. Heed Diane’s warnings about the driveway during the winter…it’s steep and narrow. Diane is AWESOME…very responsive, easy to talk with and genuinely caring. Our grandchildren LOVED the house and want to go back next year. We do too!

Wonderful house
We had a great time!. Our granddaughter loved the hot tub on the deck and the bathtub upstairs. We all enjoyed the kitchen, very roomy and it has everything you could need. The views are spectacular. We look forward to staying again soon.

Great house in a great location
This may have been the best equipped house I’ve ever rented. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of towels, and everything was very clean. The shuttle service was convenient and took care of most of our transportation while we were there. The only possible negatives (which are fully disclosed in the listing) are that we wish it had more than 3 bathrooms, and the driveway is steep. Even with 4wd and new snow tires, I decided to leave the vehicle in the driveway and only use the shuttle after one time returning to the house while it was snowing and getting a little nervous that we wouldn’t make it all the way up the driveway. It worked out well though, the shuttle service was great and we didn’t have to worry about parking. It was a terrific trip and we’d definitely recommend this house.

Incredible Getaway
This was such an amazing property! The house had more than enough room to accommodate us, and everything was so beautiful inside and out. The Perfect Winter Getaway
A beautiful cabin with a amazing sunset views and the occasional deer that can be seen walking through the snow. The hot tub and wood burning fireplace were everything! Diane was welcoming and made sure we had what we needed before we arrived. Great way to start the season. We had such a great experience we already booked again!!

Little Piece of Heaven
My husband and I stayed here for 1 week. We have been to a lot of cabins over the years but this cabin is definitely on my top 3. This cabin is extremely inviting. The cabin has so many personal touches to it that it makes you feel like you can just let go and relax. Very homey. The cabin was very clean and supplied with everything you could possibly need. The views are spectacular. There is easy access to trails and convenient stores. The owner is very informative and was there to answer any questions we had. We were there in the fall and will be back to check things out in a different season. I highly recommend this home for any family get together you wont be disappointed.

Another Great Fall Getaway
This is the second year we have come to this great property! The host is amazing. Offering up adult and kids beverage for your arrival. The house has amazing views and a fantastic hot tub where you can take in all the mountain beauty. The location is really can't be beat. Fantastic home, beautiful views
We had a fantastic long weekend at Foxwood. The pictures don't do it justice-- the views from the deck are amazing, plus the home itself is lovely! The kitchen was a joy to cook in as it is wonderfully well-appointed and spacious. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, and the living spaces are thoughtfully arranged. You can't go wrong with this rental. The owner was easy to communicate with and was so kind to leave us adult beverages to enjoy. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay here. We only wish we could come back next weekend!

A Piece of Paradise
This home has spectacular views from the late deck, with plenty of seating for a large group. The beautiful, large kitchen and dining room also provided space for cooking and dining with the entire family. I highly recommend a stay at lFoxwood!

What an amazing house in such a picturesque location. The home was well appointed for a mixed family gathering. There were plenty of bedrooms and places to hangout for our group. The view from the deck was the best part. Watching the fog burn off in the morning and the sunset in the evening was nothing short of magical. The proximity to Snowshoe made playing at the lake and in the pool a breeze.

Wonderful house!
The house was perfect for our group of 12. The deck is where we spent most of our time, the big couch and fire pit made it very comfy, and the views are amazing! The kitchen was wonderfully stocked; we even had beverages waiting for us! Diane was super responsive, both before and during our time there. The hot tub had some issues that unfortunately couldn’t be fixed while we were there, but Diane was great and refunded part of our money without us even asking. The house is about a 5 minute drive to the village. Definitely recommend!

Ideal for a Ski Trip with Friends
This property truly met all of our needs in all the right ways. We had three families in our group, fourteen people total, and we never felt crowded and uncomfortable. There was ample space for the kids to sleep and play while the adults could occupy the more private bedrooms and spend time in the large kitchen and living room area. The convenience to the village couldn’t have been better. You’re a five minute drive to Silver Creek and Snowshoe and can always use the shuttle if you don’t want to drive. Lastly, the owner Dianne couldn’t have been kinder. We hit a couple snags throughout the week and she was always immediately responsive, helpful and abundantly kind. Overall, we would (and hopefully will!) stay here again and would highly recommend it for any large families or groups looking for the space and privacy of a cabin while also being close to all of the action that Snowshoe has to offer.

Sunsets Were Breathtaking!
The house was perfect for our family and friends to gather for my birthday! And the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking with the snowy winter wonderland of trees in the background! Pink and orange filled the skies every evening and you can see all of this from the large windows in the family room, the deck, and also while soaking in the hot tub. Diane, our host, stocked the kitchen with treats, drinks and coffee. And she even called us personally upon arrival to ensure we got checked in okay and had what we needed. The house was beautiful all throughout and thoughtfully decorated. There was plenty of seating everywhere and a wonderful large island in the kitchen that was fully stocked with cooking equipment and utensils. We used the shuttle at least 6 or so times a day and they always arrived within 10 mins. We went to the nearby brewery, the Village for skiing, and Tuques for music. The house also has a wonderful room you enter from the driveway where you can conveniently keep all your skies and equipment. Thank you Diane for your hospitality!

Spacious House with Gorgeous Views!

Beautiful Cabin
I was very impressed with the cabin and it was two minuets away from snowshoe. The owner was wonderful and provided everything that you could ever need. She also stocked the fridge with complimentary soda, beer, and wine. The pictures of the cabin do not do justice to how beautiful it is and I highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting snowshoe.

Thanksgiving Getaway
The house was beautiful, clean, and well decorated. The view of the sunset was stunning from the front deck. We rented it because of the huge kitchen and dining room for Thanksgiving, and it was great for our large gathering. The hot tub was great too. It got very cold, and the house stayed nice and warm.

Excellent property and host
My group of five women had the most wonderful time at Snowshoe. The cabin was immaculate and stocked with everything we could possibly want, from two kinds of coffee makers to wine openers and even separate towels for hot tub and bath. The views -- especially from the hot tub -- are breathtaking and the hot tub itself, unlike other properties, was sparkling clean! These seems to be an older renovated cabin so the fact the master bath isn't in the master bedroom might throw some people, but the specacular view from the bathtub should help! This would be a good property for three families with children. Highly recommend!

Great Escape from Urban Living!
We had a very restful and enjoyable stay at Foxwood. Beautiful sunsets and views of the mountains! The house was clean and comfortable. It had the most well equipped kitchen that we've ever had with VRBO. Hope to return in the summer to enjoy more outdoor activities.

Great fall get away. three rode bikes 75 miles on the Greenbriar trail. Other took the train up to
Loved most everything. Bathroom situation--only three--a bit awkward. One bathroom, the main one,the toilet was not working properly. Needs new seal. Please contact owner.
