"The village rooms were clean and the view was amazing. There was a shared fire pit out front of the village rooms that was stocked with wood each night. Having Franks and the general store on sight was a nice perk, especially with 2 kids. The room had a fridge and large microwave so you could bring lots of easy breakfast/lunch/snack options with you. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Franks food was good! The large grassy area along side the eatery was the perfect spot for kids to play and make friends. Our kids also took horseback riding lessons and loved the experience. If you want to eat at the upscale restaurant across the street you'll need reservations. We did not know and were turned away at 5pm with a party of 4 with no options for a waitlist. That was honestly the only let down of the entire trip. We'll be back and can't wait!"
Lakeside Cabin, Cozy Family Pet-Friendly, Beautiful Views, Free Dock & Boat Slip
10/10 Excellent
"Cabin was cozy and deck has a great view of the lake. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, and cabin is walking distance to a market and some restaurants as well. Very close to two resorts with boat rentals. Small swimming area but no real beach. The lawn is lakeside. There is no air conditioning despite the listing, but we visited in late May and didn't need it as the entire resort is very shaded. The hosts are lovely and the check in was very easy. Would stay here again."
"Room was clean, but the noise from second floor feels like the people are literally in your room. The other concern, that your room number is pre-made before your arrival. From this point the host needs to do better planning how to accommodate. If there are people staying 2-3 nights and come earlier - make sense to put them on a second floor, so the one’s, who stay overnight and come at 2am will not bother with continuous nose while they unpacking stuff in the middle of the night.
Overall place is okay, but forget about night rest here."
"Breakfasts were very delicious. A cookie jar full of homemade cookies was a nice touch. The sunroom and gazabo were comfy places to sit and read or enjoy a glass of wine. The grounds were lovely. The bed was comfortable; smaller, fluffier pillows would be a good update."
