"Place was rustic & beautiful. Hottub in ground level garage offered privacy & shelter. We stayed in the penthouse, there’s 47 stairs, not ideal if you have bad knees. Would stay here again."

"We had a lovely stay here! Communication with Cindy and Colin was great, they were quick to respond, provided clear instructions for an easy check in/check out and shared lots of information about the area. Their condo was well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend booking a stay here!"

"Bear Behind Lodge was the perfect space for our group retreat! Jason and Angelika have curated a detailed, intensional space that felt so warm and welcoming the moment we walked in. Super clean and comfortable, our girls loves that there were spaces for sharing time together as a group, but also big enough for us to have our own separate time. Bedrooms were comfortable, and they have a well stocked kitchen for all the meals we cooked (excellent updated appliances)! There were enough dishes and tools for me (I love the kitchen) to host good meals. We LOVED the gas powered fire table for our evening talks as well. Jason & Angelika's instruction manual was also super helpful - It helped me use the space to my full advantage. Jason is fast to reply, offers great detailed tips, and answered all my questions ahead of time. I felt amply prepared to plan my retreat & activities for my group thanks to his feedback. The lodge is close to trails and in a very quiet, which is what we wanted for the summer season. I would 100% book this place again for a retreat with friends or family. Thank you Jason and Angelika for maintaining and putting so much work into the lodge - you helped make my job easier by preparing the space for me to easily host my group well!"
