"This cozy and comfortable mountain house served as a wonderful base for our mountain hiking trip. Conveniently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway and Linville Falls area, we were just a short ride away from amazing hikes and views.The owner was exceptionally helpful with suggestions and information. Very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The house has all the comforts you would want - outdoor fireplace and grill, spa, and comfortable furnishings both in and out.Additionally, we were a short ride from Banner Elk and Blowing Rock for some excellent food, treats, and shopping. A trip definitely worth making again. We look forward to another visit here soon! "

Its convenient location in Newland, near Linville, Grandfather, grocery shopping and being near the YMCA, was an added bonus (you can get a day pass and attend classes and use the gym). There are also pickleball courts in the neighborhood. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful and scenic retreat!"
