"Pet friendly Relaxing Cabin experience and remote access Host was amazing and very informative and helpful for us to have a good trip. Cabin was in a remote peaceful location. You will be away from facilities so pack all you want to keep your stay peaceful and remote to clear your mind. If you are looking a place to rest go here. When it’s cold it would be an awesome place since it was warm we couldn’t use the gas fireplace. God bless ."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very well maintained and close to many attractions. We had an issue with key code while checking in and the host addressed it very quickly and efficiently. The tree house room was our favorite hang out spot in the cabin!"

"Kathy was a great host. Was quick to respond to all my emails. We actually got to meet her. It felt like we were hanging around with a long lost friend. Could not have had a better host. The cottage was awesome, met our every need. Loved the babbling river off the back port, so peaceful. The cabin also has a great/central location, we traveled to Little Switzerland, Boone and Linville. Thanks Kathy for a great stay!!! Hope to visit again ..."

"I like that it has old Alpine Charm that fits the highlands. They have go to great lengths to build out decks from the restaurant, have pickle bar ball court. There is a specialty food truck onsite in addition to good menu and nice bar, it gives the Pineola a vibe of youth and comfort. Although I don’t stay often I live in Newland in Summer and will make sure I get back to restaurant/ bar to relax one evening."

"This property was very nice. The communication from the host was very good. Only three main negatives. 1.) Having the 2nd bedroom outside of the main property and not attached was inconvenient. 2.) The couch and chair in the living room are old, saggy, and not comfortable. 3.) The pots and pans are very old and appear to be teflon, and some were scratched. Other than those three negatives we enjoyed our stay,"
