"The beach cabin we stayed in was sufficiently furnished and had a small kitchen with microwave, cooktop and fridge. Air conditioning and a sliding glass door to the outside for good ventilation. It was spacious enough to enjoy the beach vibe of this campsite/cabins retreat. There are few walking paths to the beach and onsite hamburger cafe, bar and pizza cafe. Also a small convenience shop that served coffees and limited groceries. It was located close to the town to walk to and to Cathedral Coves Kayaking. "

"Well maintained property, close to Tairua town. The one bedroom unit had all amenities needed for a 3 night stay. Owner is friendly and communicative. We also got to use the bikes for free and I believe t hey also let you use kayaks for free. "

"Peaceful accommodation amongst the trees with wonderful staff and breakfast. Bed was large and comfy, and the deck was wonderful to sit with coffee and listen to the birds."

"We stayed in a villa and it was lovely and cosy. Very clean and everything looked new! The property was well laid out with a large outdoor pool, cafe for morning coffees and snacks, movie nights and fish & chips available in the evening. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff! We enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend! "

"The 2 bedroom was charming and rustic. It was a very convenient location. You can get to cathedral cove and beaches on foot which made it a pleasure. The local shopping center and restaurants were within minutes also on foot. The area shuts down by 8pm. Make your dining arrangements at Church Bistro ahead of time as they get booked quickly but worth it."

"The staff were wonderful. We were late in arriving but staff made the check-in process smooth and easy. We were in unit 1 which has a view of the bay and a wonderful outside sitting area with a bbq. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. The heat pump worked well when we needed air conditioning or heat. The staff were very helpful during an unusual heavy rainfall event to make sure we were safe and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we are back in the area. Hot water beach and Cathedral Cove are within easy driving distance. "
