The best area to stay in Skrivena Luka is the area directly surrounding the main bay, as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the bay itself.

This central area is the heart of Skrivena Luka, characterised by its horseshoe-shaped bay with crystal-clear waters. Accommodation here often provides direct sea views or is just a short walk from the pebble beaches and jetties. You'll find a selection of local eateries and a small general store within easy reach. The main road that encircles the bay provides simple access to all points of interest.

Couples looking for a relaxing and picturesque escape will find this area ideal. The proximity to the water means you can easily enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or hiring a small boat for a private excursion. Evening strolls along the bay are particularly pleasant, with the sound of the sea and the gentle glow of the lights from the few restaurants.

Families with older children will also appreciate the convenience of staying around the main bay. The easy access to the water allows for spontaneous swims and water activities.

The best time to go to Skrivena Luka is during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, September, and early October.

These months offer pleasant weather for exploring, with warm temperatures great for swimming and enjoying the natural beauty without the intense heat and larger crowds of the peak summer months. You'll find the water warm enough for a comfortable dip and the coastal paths more enjoyable for walks.

Couples looking for a romantic escape will particularly appreciate the quieter atmosphere during these times. You can enjoy more intimate dining experiences at local tavernas and have more space to relax on the secluded beaches. The reduced number of visitors also makes it easier to secure bookings for popular activities and accommodations.

For those planning a family holiday, the shoulder seasons provide an excellent balance. The weather is still lovely for children to play outdoors and swim, but the beaches aren't as packed, making it easier to keep an eye on little ones.
