I also appreciated the flyers of local activities. Communication was excellent and very prompt…an added touch of hospitality. Neighbors were friendly and well accommodating while we were unloading. And York is a lovely city."

"This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. "A lovely little property, tucked out of the way 15 minutes walk from one of the gates to the city of York. We parked the car and then left it there. There were local buses but we didn't feel the need to use them. A very modern downstairs bathroom. The stairs were narrow but were aware of this in the comprehensive details. Comfortable master bedroom (as in photo) with good quality mattress, though the other two bedrooms had much lower beds which had less comfortable mattresses. Overall, accommodation was fine for a family of four, though there was no wardrobe hanging space available...

"The property was in a residential area just outside of York. Good location to the centre. The apartment is spacious and had everything needed for a weekend stay. The only downside we found the fridge dirty also a bit smelly. But we only used it for milk so it wasn’t too much of a problem. Fantastic French doors which let in so much light in the living room, the parking space is such a bonus. We would definitely stay again."

"Location and service was excellent. Valet Parking was great, £25 for 24 hrs is cheaper than the nearest pay and display. We arrived really early and they had a room ready and offered early check in which was very handy for us. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and it was lovely. The downside is a very hard bed and no air con. "
