"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rene. We arrived much later than planned but were welcomed so graciously and even made some food. The rooms, with fantastic air conditioning, and grounds were spotless because they were cleaned every day. ALL staff were friendly and approachable. Sunbeds, swimming and restaurant area were all well maintained. Beach and town centre all within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again."

"Amazing staff who were very pleasant and happy to help. We were picked up from the airport by Diamond (not sure if that’s spelt correctly) who drove us straight to the hotel. We had a gorgeous town view, which was breathtaking. The room was well equipped and exactly as described. Breakfast was basic but plentiful and tasty and was taken on the roof terrace, which had equally lovely views. Much recommended for a short stay in Skiathos town."

Location is ideal, less than a 10 minute walk to the busy area of the town but feels relatively quiet and relaxed. Katerina and her family are friendly, welcoming hosts."

"The hotel was amazing, very laid back atmosphere yet the staff are super friendly and helpful. The view of the Aegean is also spectacular which we enjoyed while sitting near the pool drinking their amazing cocktails. It’s also not very far from town, about a 9 minute drive to the port and a 4 minute drive to Plakes and there’s also plenty of parking."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel does have the feel of a higher class hotel, with staff being attentive and the overall feeling of attention to detail. Our room felt as though it needed refurbishing or small updates to make it a 5* room. The balcony was good, but no real view, which was a shame, as I had asked for a room with a good view. The breakfast was good. Our flight was in the evening but staff were happy for us to stay and use the facilities, including the great pool and showers. The area of the hotel is not so nice. It is slightly back form the main town centre, so quiet, but there are quite a few businesses buildings around and there is not much pavement on the walk to and from the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had a good price which made it good value for money. Some reviews say this is more of a 4* hotel. I would perhaps be slightly more generous. It is perhaps not a 5* feeling, but maybe a 4.5*."

"I had a lovely short break, the room was clean & well equipped. The accommodation is up quite a steep slope - good exercise! Great view from the balcony, close enough to walk into town at night & very near bus stops to explore the villages along the coast. I only had a backpack so opted to walk to & from the airport."
