You are the best hostel or guest house that ever stay. Hot tube is very good, all of facility and food for breakfast is very good too. If you thinking that should i book this place or not. I can told you that, you should booked!!

Wonderful stay. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast left for all at the house for the morning. A must if you're in the area!

We loved it here! Right off of the Ring Road. Host was very easy to communicate with. Beautiful scenery and horses everywhere. Super quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen for cooking. Host left food for breakfast so there were plenty of snacks available. Washer but no dryer. Definitely visit Reykjafoss if you stay here which is a gorgeous waterfall with a natural hot spring tub (about 12 min from the property in Varmahlio).

Very modern, clean, spacious, and private. Hot tub was great and free breakfast was a nice bonus. The property was surrounded with beautiful scenery and horses. Responsive and friendly hosts! Fabulous guest house!

Simply Fabulous!
It was our favourite stay during the entire 10 day Icelandic family roadtrip! Super comfortable and the location is just stunning! We all enjoyed the hot tub and the owner generously stacked the fridge for breakfast. It truly felt like home away from home! The kids have already asked if we could go back and stay for longer! We all loved it!

Perhaps our favorite stay in Iceland. Well located, clean and appreciated the full kitchen. Recycling bins would be nice as well as a trash bin in the room.

This is a great little spot. What set it apart for us was the kindness of our host. My son forgot his boots in the shoe bench and our amazing host found them a ride to Reykjavik, so they were available to us before our flight home. Super, super grateful! The refrigerator stocked with wonderful items for breakfast (including eggs, yogurt, milk and dries cereals). The hot tub is nice, there is a great view of the mountains and horses from it. It was lovely to wake up to horses in the fields. We had a family room with a double and a bunk. Our restroom was shared with 2 other rooms in our suite. Towels were provided. Fabulous experience. Thank you!

We had a great stay here in June 2022! Everything was clean and easy to find. There were also horses and a very lovable dog on the property. The fridge was incredibly well stocked with eggs, juices, yogurt, fruit, milk, meats and cheeses etc. We had such a wonderful and filling breakfast, so thank you for that!!! The only bummer was that the hot tub was the type that has to be filled and you had to wait for it to warm up, which after an hour we kind of gave up on. Such a bummer bc we were looking forward to the hot tub!

I loved the horses and the view of the valley was gorgeous. Nice guesthouse with large well stocked kitchen. Only negative was sharing a bathroom with other guests.

This place was awesome. We felt at home from the moment we stepped through the door. The hot tub under the stars with the mountains in the background was unforgettable! We would definitely recommend this place and hope to go back one day. Very clean and our hosts were very kind!

The owners are the SWEETEST and honestly helped us plan our ENTIRE trip and showed us their animals which was SO FUN! It was our first night in Iceland and we were exhausted and the place was perfect!

Lovely hut experience
We, a couple and our 16 year old daughger were traveling to the North east of Iceland. Our first night was on Syðra Skorðugil. The guesthouse is a lovely wooden house in a beutiful surrounding. The hostess was helpful when we arrived. This is a self serving accomodation, breakfsst was placed in a refrigirator for us and the atmosphere at the breakfast table was friendly. The only problem was the hut tub, it was not clean enough and too hot. I reccommend Syðra- Skorðugil

It was so lovely and relaxing! The room was very clean and spacious, as were all of the shared living spaces (kitchen, living room, and bathroom). There were many options for self-service breakfast. It felt like really being at home- but with a wonderful hotpot and beautiful horses

We had a very good stay. The accommodation was clean, had a good kitchen and a cozy bedroom. A nice neighbor dog came by in the evening and morning to be cuddled by us :D We also really enjoyed the hot tub with a view of the snowy landscape and horses (There were problems with filling it, but our host quickly solved it)

Highly recommended!!
It is a very comfortable villa with a few rooms and 2 shared bathrooms. The bathrooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. Just like the whole villa : cosy! Open kitchen, with everything you need. Bedrooms themselves are not large, but there is still plenty of practical space. Highly recommended!!
