Best Friend Trip to Sisters
We absolutely loved our stay! This is a cute cabin that has everything you need. There’s a wood-burning stove, the kitchen that is well stocked, a cute little nook to sit in and look at the outdoors while enjoying a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Both bedrooms were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Small but very comfy!
This was a great spot for a quick weekend trip! Close to Sisters, close to Hoodoo, and a very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views from the windows, a very warm wood burning stove, and slept like a baby in the comfy beds! Thank you for a very welcoming place!

Great property in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect basecamp for The Three Sisters wilderness adventures
What a perfect house in a lovely community. We flew into Portland from Virginia and had a nice drive over to Sisters and our rental. The directions to get into the house were perfect and we quickly settled in. The kitchen is very well appointed and every required utensil was at the ready. We truly appreciated the Keurig for our morning coffee routine. This trip it was myself, husband and our son. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor along with laundry. After we decided on who was getting which room we took turns hitting the shower and the sat out on upper deck to do some star-gazing. We did notice the hammock and seating on the lower deck. We had an early morning ahead of us and hit the beds, super comfy beds. In the evenings, after a nice long hike my husband would fire up the grill and we enjoyed steak, burgers and chicken. Everything, except smoke from the wildfires was wonderful. Due to its proximaty Sisters we werew able to get in 7 hikes in 6 days. We cant wait for an opportunity to come back to Sisters and explore even more. You better believe we will stay here again! Agata Griffis

Cabin in Sisters OR
The cabin was lovely and well equipped. The area is charming. We were in town for a wedding and the location was a few minutes from the venue and the recommendations for things to do in the area were great. I would stay again but for a longer period of time and do more exploring.

Great house for a small group
Nice house in the very quiet Tollgate subdivision about 2 miles west of Sisters. As noted, you enter between the two floors. The only bathroom is downstairs, which could be a problem for some. It was fine with us. The kitchen is small, but very well stocked with everything you will need. Two nice recliners in the original dining area is a great spot to see deer. The main living area has an L-shaped couch and a dining table that seats 4. The downstairs is very compact: two bedrooms, a nice sized bath room and a large laundry closet. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely rent this home again.

Perfect for what we needed
This is not a fancy place. But it is in a good location and it is clean. It had what we needed. The price was right. We like the location because it is between Sisters and where we "camp" (near Camp Sherman). I also like walking in the morning and it is a safe neighborhood.

Perfect family getaway
Nice cozy cabin! The kids loved having tons of space to run around and explore the Tollgate property. The cabin had all the creature comforts (AC, cable, full kitchen) to feel like we were getting away without roughing it.

Our New Family Getaway
This was our second stay and it couldn't be better. This home is comfortable, well kept, and inviting. My kids love hanging in the sunroom and we love how close it is to all the activities we want to do!

This gem of a place was very clean and cozy, amoung gorgeous Pines. It was perfect base camp to shopping, dining and hiking. Owners were very polite and accomodating. Highly Recommend!

We came to Sisters, Oregon to celebrate my daughter's 25th birthday. We played on the slopes at Hoodoo. This was a clean and comfortable home in a quiet development and only 2 miles to town. We will diffenately keep this home on our favorites list.

We had a great stay at this cabin and certainly plan to be back. Everything was as described, and the location is fantastic. What stood out about this cabin is how clean and well cared for it is. We have stayed in many vacation homes and my wife and I both agreed that it was the cleanest. They have done a great job of maintaining it. We felt right at home. Thank you!

Repeat visit!
This was our second stay in this lovely home just outside downtown Sisters. Every morning we spent out on the deck, drinking our morning coffee and listening to the birds in the pines. Fantastically maintained house, comfy beds, and a well-stocked kitchen. Truly a home away from home! We shall return!

Perfect Location
Loved the location of this property. We felt like we were in the woods and secluded. Close to everything we wanted to do as well. We took our paddleboard to Suttle Lake, which is a short drive from the house. Sisters has a very charming downtown and lots of great places to visit and eat. We highly recommend this property.

QUIET RESTFUL GIRLS RETREAT
A very comfortable cabin in a quiet residential neighborhood. Although there were many houses the layout made you feel like you were in the woods. Very convenient to travel into Sisters in only a few minutes. The house was immaculate and very well appointed. Good cooking pans and nice eating area. We enjoyed the deck in the evening. We will return in the future.

Lovely cabin, well kept and welcoming. Split level, stairs up and down, not such a good choice for two old ladies with bad knees! Despite the steps, we had a wonderful time, old friends reconnecting post-pandemic.

The home is nicely remodeled. The windows are incredible. The views from upstairs are wonderful. The beds could be softer, and the housekeeping could have been better, ie the woodstove was not cleaned out and ash spilled out when it was opened to be used. We certainly would like to stay again!

Thank you for your positive review. We love the upstairs views from the windows as well. Unfortunately, there will be times when ashes are left in the woodstove as the cleaning service can't service it for liability reasons (their insurance prohibits it). However, we try our best to keep up with it. We are in the process of getting a more neutral mattress as we hear both, the mattress is too soft or hard from guests. Honestly, we really do appreciate each feedback from our guests as this helps us make improvements to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Katrina

Lovely property, photos slightly out of date
This property was a lovely little getaway just outside of Sisters and with easy access to Bend and Hoodoo, as well as a nearby sledding sno park. The property is very well kept and stocked, and has apparently undergone some renovations since the photos were taken. The curved-glass sunroom shown in the main photograph has been replaced with a nicely wood-framed room with two skylights. I wish the photos had been updated to show this as we'd looked forward to stargazing through the glass roof. Other than that, though, it was a delightful little place to stay. Be advised that if the photos show a curved, fully glassed-in sunroom, they have not been updated to show recent renovations.

Thank you for the nice review. We completed the renovation recently as the large window in the sunroom was leaking. We will update the photos as soon as the weather allows which has been a little challenging recently. We replaced the curved-glass window with a large picture window and added 2 skylights to allow stargazing and light in the sunroom. Also upgraded the glass to more clear view glass as the other was hard to see out of due to the tint. The new windows also control the temperature nicely which was very challenging with the single plane curved glass window.

Second Stay - Can’t wait for more
We stayed here a year ago over New Years and it was our first thought of where to go again during winter break. It’s a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with walking and biking trails that you can walk into sisters (appx 2 miles) or a quick 3 minute drive into town. The Cabin had two bedrooms downstairs and a sunroom upstairs with a fold down futon that essentially created a third bedroom - perfect for myself, my husband and two teen boys. It’s location to Hoodoo is ideal - appx 20-25 minutes and the boys were able to go up each day for a few hours and get their fill of boarding on the mountain.

A wonderful house for a quiet retreat in Sisters
My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. The house has a wonderful view of the Ponderosa Pine forest. It was warm, comfortable, and it had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in sisters.

Close to downtown tucked away in quiet neighborhood
Cute and cozy two bedroom home. Perfect for our couple’s weekend. The guys hunted during the day as we explored the local shops of Sisters. At night, we came together to play games in a warm, cozy living room heated by the wood stove fire. Kitchen is fully functioning so eat in or take less than a 10 minute drive to one of the local restaurants. Owners are very responsive and easy to communicate with! You will enjoy your stay!

I thought it was quaint and cozy. The neighborhood is very quiet and pleasant. We loved the solar heat room and the stove. It really warmed us up. Beds were super soft and had electric heaters- I was in heaven. Great water pressure- my partner asked me why we don’t have pressure like that at our house. 🙂 thanks for the nice stay.

Sister's home away from home
My husband and I stayed in this lovely house for a few nights in June. The space is immaculate and very comfortable. The host Katrina provided detailed information about the house in a binder and posted throughout the home, making it easy to settle in, use the space efficiently, and keep the place cool throughout our stay. Katrina is very responsive via VRBO and text. Our favorite thing to do: we spent each morning out on the upper deck enjoying our coffee, the scent of the pine trees, and the bird song. We were seeking peace and quiet, and we found it! We will be back!

This cabin has everything our family of four were hoping for in our stay. The location to Hoodoo for skiing was perfect and the access to sisters for food, groceries, etc was ideal. The hosts were quick to reply and are generous with their stocking of the cabin. They also provided clear details and instructions throughout making it easy to figure out WiFi, tv, lighting, etc. It was also a great area with trails for walking right outside the door.

My husband and I were just amazed at this place. It is by far the most thoughtfully stocked rental I’ve ever stayed in. Toilet paper: they’ve got your back, you won’t need to run to the store for that! Paper towels: a full roll on the counter and ready to use! Soap: full bottles! Kitchen towels: more than two! Imagine that! (I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a rental that had more than two kitchen towels!) Kitchen dishes/supplies: I cooked several meals and had everything I needed. Pillows/blankets/bathroom linens: you don’t need to bring extra, there’s so much and it’s great! Plus, so many outlets to plug in your things, especially in the bedrooms. So many shelves to put your stuff so it doesn’t have to sit on the floor (in the bathroom -genius, by the front door.) So many hooks so you don’t have to hang ALL the towels all together in the bathroom. Long story short people: stay here! It’s amazing and beautiful (and SO CLEAN, I didn’t even see ONE cobweb at all!) and the owners are super response, helpful and available. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be staying here again.

Check in was a breeze. The house was clean and inviting. We sprayed all surfaces with alcohol and washed the dishes again because of COVID. Running the dishes through the dishwasher at the end of your stay makes sense but to have your guests then put them away does not make sense to me. If that guest has COVID he/she has just handled the dishes that the next guest will use. Just my opinion.
