"While traveling through Turkey, I had the privilege to stay in the Efes Konaklari. We were extremely pleased with the rooms and the service. The service was absolutely wonderful, the owner and all of the people we met at this inn were extremely kind. There were many nights when we sat out on the portico and chatted with owner. "We were very well received by the hosts of this amazing pension. The description on the site and photos are far from reality, it's even more beautiful on site. We had a great time among the animals that made us forget the noise of the city. Our room was very clean and very nice, and we appreciated the quality of service from all the staff. "Customer Service was top notch and exceptional. Unlike the other hotels we stayed at (who were frugal with everything), they were very warm and hospitable throughout our stay - we thoroughly ENJOYED it. The half-board meals were a great spread of food, especially the desserts. They even packed a lunch box on our last day as we left before breakfast They did not let us stay our extra days in the initial sea view room our tour booked for us so we had to change to a "side sea view" room we booked room, which was a pain (but fair enough). The massage in the spa downstairs was OK but the Turkish bath was a disaster as it was very noisy, chaotic and not relaxing with kids running all over and screaming. The Jacuzzi was lukewarm, so I didn't enjoy that, but seemed to be the case with all the hotels. But my overall experience at this hotel for the things that really mattered was 5*. I would love to go again for a relaxing week."
