We stayed for three nights in December and had a lovely time. The house is very cozy and the room was lovely and warm. The women running it were very kind and hospitable. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. It's well located, right near the dolmuş stop, so was perfect for exploring the region. We would definitely stay here again.

Best B&B ever..

Amazing breakfast and very friendly staff. Rooms are a little small, but the ambience of the room and the hotel is beautiful. Very cute and picturesque town.

The room is smaller than I expected and there was a fair amount of noise (some from the room above us as they came in after 11pm both nights and the call to prayer each morning at 4:30) so we didn’t sleep well. The breakfast was served at half nine, which was too late for us.

Staying at the Chez Rumi and visiting Şirinçe was an incredibly pleasant and memorable experience. It was different from a typical hotel experience. The hosts were so warm, hospitable, and easy-going that we felt like guests at a good friend's or relative's home. The unit was spacious and clean despite the old building. The bathroom could use some renovation but it was overall decent. The location is perfect, at the heart of the town next to the historic bazaar with a few parking lots at a walking distance away. It felt super safe even at the latest hours. There are lots of clothing and souvenir shops, restaurants and coffee shops, ice cream shops, and wine shops with underground cellars, all at a convenient walking distance. The hotel's restaurant was great, too. The breakfast was just perfect and the other meals were easily the best food among the ones we tried in town. The open-kitchen concept made the experience more special, as we could wine and dine with the owners family and staff as they cooked delicious food for us in front of our eyes with organic ingredients from their own farm and village. We were able to make and self-serve tea as if it's our own place, chitchat with the owners over food or drinks, and watch our children play together. Our toddler had a lot of fun playing with their kid, who was also kind, caring, and sharing, e.g., she let him pet her kitten and parrot and brought him toys to play in the yard. I would strongly recommend it!

Yatak örtüleri, çarşaf ve yastıklar kıl ve tüylerle kaplıydı. Bir geceyi bile geçiremeden otelden ayrıldık. Hijyen sıfırdı ve oda çok boğucuydu. Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum.

Otelin çalışanları çok ilgili ve tatlıydı zaten aile işletmesi. Fakat kaldığımız ‘standart oda’ asla ışık almayan neredeyse kot hizasında bir odaydı ve satın alırken bununla ilgili hiçbir uyarı yoktu. Odanın içinde ışıksız göremiyorsunuz bile. Yatak çok rahatsızdı çarşaflar temizdi ama odanın içi örümcek ağları doluydu. Kahvaltısı ve çalışanları hariç tavsiye edemiyorum maalesef

Şirince sizi farklı bir tarihe götürecektir.

İşletme sahibi çift çok sıcak ve samimiler. Her konuda yardımcılar. Biz Doktorun evi adındaki konakta kaldık ve çok memnun kaldık. Merkez alan biraz uzak ve dik yokuşlu yollardan çıkmak durumunuzdasınız. Ancak manzara ve köyün hissiyatı çok güzel. Konağın karşısında yer alan ocakbaşı restaurant ta hem kahvaltı hem de diğer öğünleri yiyebilirsiniz. Şarap ve zeytinyağ almadan gitmeyin.

The place sure is clean and comfy to ensure the visitors get a good rest. But it stands out from the other places for the hospitality of the managers and the quality of the food. The dinner was so delicious, we wanted to try everything on their menu (and we almost did except for a couple of dishes saved for the next visit). The breakfast was also wonderful. Their homemade chili jam (yes, sweet yet so spicy) and lemon jam were amazing tasting experiences. Would love to come back.

Harika bir otel!

Odalarımız, restaurant bölümü ve çalışanların ilgisiyle aşırı samimi ve güzel bir ortam. Etrafı gezdikten sonra anladığım kadarıyla belki de konum ve konsept olarak en güzel otel.. Ayrıca belirtmek isterim ki dışarıda bir kahvaltıya gitmek istesek böyle güzeli olmazdı. Şirinceye gelip 1gece konaklamak harika bir fikir ve kesinlikle mekan aramak vakit kaybı Chez Rumi harika bir tercihti. Buradan tüm çalışanlara tekrar teşekkürler.

Şirince’deki evimiz

Otele ilk adımımızı attığımız andan çıkış yaptığımız zamana kadar mükemmel zaman geçirdik. İlk girişte şef bizi özel kokteyli ile karışladı. Kesinlikle çok başarılı, mutlaka tatmanızı tavsiye ediyorum. Sanki kendi evimizdeymişiz gibi hissettik her an. Gerek kahvaltı gerekse akşam yediğimiz mezeler çok lezzetliydi. Chez Rumi’de kesinlikle bir aile ortamı var. Bu kadar içten ve bu kadar samimi oldukları için başta Hayri bey ve Ahmed bey olmak üzere tüm çalışanlara teşekkür ediyorum. Şirince’de bir evimiz oldu😊

Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum

Gerçekten mükemmel bir atmosfer ve enerjisi sahip olan bu otel şirincenin en güzel dinlenme yeri biz İstanbul’dan kaşa gidecektin o güzergahı istasyon olarak kullandık ama bundan sonra her sene oradayız şahane bir otel sahibi sanki kendi evimizde gibiydik iki gün kaldık keşke dahada kalsaydık şirincenin bu güzel Konak otelinde gerçekten çok rahat edebilirsiniz ayrıca otel sahibi Hayri beye çok teşekkür ederiz.

Excellent Stay - Welcoming and Relaxing

We have traveled through Turkey for two weeks by car and this place was the best in my honest opinion. Initially we were planning to stay only for one night but we changed our minds and stayed a little longer. The owner and the staff are very welcoming and kind. Food and local wine are excellent. The building looks back at a long history and the room was cozy - you can really detach and relax here. Romantic fire place! Practical recommendation: The hotel is located in the village Şirince in the mountains above Selçuk (Ephesus) and you need to be by car. Ephesus is a 30 minutes’ drive away downhill. Became friends with the owner and will come back one day. Five out of five. Wir sind für zwei Wochen im Auto durch die Türkei gereist und ich muss ehrlich sagen, hier hat es uns am besten gefallen! Anfangs wollten wir nur für eine Nacht bleiben aber wir „mussten“ doch noch etwas länger bleiben. Der Besitzer und die Angestellten sind sehr nett und überaus zuvorkommend. Das Essen und der Wein aus der Region sind ausgezeichnet. Das Gebäude blickt auf eine lange Geschichte zurück (mehrere hundert Jahre) und das Zimmer war sehr urig und gemütlich – hier kannst du dich echt entspannen und gut abschalten. Es gibt in beiden Essensräumen einen Kamin und Teile des Frühstücks werden frisch im Feuerofen zubereitet… Der Besitzer spricht Französisch und Deutsch. Das Hotel ist in dem Dorf Şirince, in den Bergen oberhalb von Selçuk (Ephesus) und man sollte im Auto unterwegs sein.
