  • Resting in Sint Maartensvlotbrug, close to the Dutch Coast, this is a 2-bedroom farmhouse. The private terrace is perfect to have meals, enjoy cozy barbecues, or drink a glass of local wine. It is ideal for a family or group of 4 persons. The residence is 2 km from the seabeach and dune region, where you can enjoy a fun-filled day. There are many options for cycling, boating, and walking in the immediate vicinity. At only 0.1 km from the farmhouse, you have the town center with restaurants and cafes to enjoy the evenings. Supermarkets and bike rentals are available at 1 km. Nightlife can be enjoyed at the pubs 10 km away. Central heating and a gas fireplace in the living room keep you cozy. You can cook delightful meals in the kitchen. The furnished garden is great to enjoy lazy walks and let your children free to play until their heart's content. There is a private terrace with outdoor furniture to host barbecue evenings. There is a parking lot a few minutes walk from the house. It is not possible to park at the property itself.

Located on the busy main road between Alkmaar and Den Helder, obviously there are times when heavy vehicles can be heard or even cause vibration. A good sized accommodation, three good sized bedrooms, kitchen, diner more than adequate, although it did take me almost eighteen hours to realise that the sink taps in the wet room were plumbed the wrong way around. Very comfortable all around the house, relatively accessible for the slightly less mobile, not suitable for wheelchairs. Opposite the Noord Hollandse Canal, which is interesting when the barges and other vessels pass by. Pizzeria just down the road, and local shops just a little further around the left hand turn at the Pizzaria. All in all a good base.

Mooi ingericht, ruim huis. Voorste helft van oude woonboerderij. Alles op de begane grond. Ligt aan zeer druk kruispunt (ook 's nachts). Op 2 van de 3 slaapkamers kunnen geen ramen open om te luchten. Slaapkamers liggen allemaal aan de wegzijde. Het interieur is mooi en comfortabel, maar technisch is er weinig aandacht aan besteed. De helft van de kranen werkt verkeerd om (warm-koud), wifi werk maar in deel van huis. Op de slaapkamers nauwelijks stopcontacten, afvoer douche stinkt, slechte verlichting in de slaapkamers. De thermostaat van de verwarming hangt in de bijkeuken naast de CV ketel, dus verwarming slecht te regelen. Gaskachel in de woonkamer werkt wel goed, maar die in keuken valt steeds uit. Vonkontsteking gasfornuis is kapot, dus neem lucifers mee, de oven werkt erg ingewikkeld en er ligt geen handleiding bij. De meeste kasten in huis zijn afgesloten (privé), daardoor niet veel plek om je eigen spullen op te bergen. Het huis was niet erg schoon. Onze hond was blij met de brokjes van een vorige hond die nog op de vloer lagen, wij minder met de haren die nog in de douche lagen. Kortom: ruim en mooi, maar geen hoge kwaliteit. Heeft veel meer potentie.

Das Haus entspricht überhaupt nicht den Bildern .. ausserdem wurde nicht erwähnt, dass es direkt an der Hauptstrasse liegt .. sehr sehr laut ... es war zu lesen, dass es im hinteren Teil des Grundstückes liegt .. das stimmt aber nicht .. daher bitte ich um ein Entgegenkommen von ihrer Seite .. für mich ist es einfach viel zu teuer angeboten ... bin sehr enttäuscht und werde daher wohl casmundo so nicht mehr buchen .. sehr schade ..

Es war sehr schön, obwohl wir eine schöne Aussicht haben möchten und das stimmte nicht ganz mit dem überein, was in Wirklichkeit war, es war wirklich sehr schön. Ein sehr gemütliches Haus mit schönen Räumen, in denen man sich wirklich "zu Hause" fühlen kann und vielen Küchenutensilien, Geschirr und Gläsern und einer Hundenapf (weil der Hund auch bei uns war). Sehr guter Empfang bei Ria, natürlich mit dem Apfelkuchen dass überall genannt wird, machte gute Betten, Handtücher im Bad. In der Nähe eines schönen Waldes, wo man spazieren gehen kann und wo es auch sehr ruhig ist. Und natürlich in Strandnähe und an schönen Orten wie Alkmaar und Schagen.

Gastvrije ontvangst, heel leuke boerderij, prachtige inrichting (vooral het schilderij met paard). Zeeën van ruimte, hond voelde zich er ook meteen thuis. Lekker in de tuin ontbijten, veel privacy. Het verkeerslawaai is in de slaapkamer wel goed hoorbaar maar ja, wij zijn 's nachts de stilte gewend (8 hoog in een heel rustige woonwijk). Maar daardoor was onze nachtrust wat minder. Wandelen met de hond ging prima, breed fietspad, door bomen en struiken afgescheiden van de weg. Ca. 300 meter verderop een heel mooi, rustig bos (Wildrijk) waar je gemakkelijk dik drie kwartier kunt wandelen. Naar het strand kan men beter met de auto/(huur)fiets. Is wel ca. 1200 meter maar over het fietspad is het onrustig met alle recreanten. Aan het eind van de weg is een ruime parkeerplaats; vrijwel alles, inclusief het mooie Schagen en Callandsoog is gratis parkeren. Daarna nog een wandelingetje van ca. 800 meter over de verharde paden naar het prachtige strand. Strandpaviljoen Zuid is een absolute aanrader, qua vriendelijke en geduldige (met onze spelende hond) bediening, de kaart en de kwaliteit van het eten. En.......de hond mag er gerust bij blijven. Kortom; behalve het geluid in de slaapkamer is het een absolute aanrader!

Sehr schöne Woche in toller Umgebung in Sint Maartensvlotbrug verbracht.

Wir waren über Silvester für 7 Tage in diesem sehr schönen und urigen Ferienhaus in Sint Maartensvlotbrug. Sehr nette Vermieterin mit sehr unkomplizierter und flexibler Reaktion, als wir kurzfristig mit einer Person mehr kamen. Weitläufige Strände machten insbesondere den Hunden sehr viel Spaß. Schöne Umgebung mit guter Infrastruktur. Ein Besuch in Alkmaar ist empfehlenswert. Sehr schöne Stadt mit einer tollen Altstadt/Innenstadt. Viele schöne Restaurants und Bars. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine sehr schöne wohnung im historischen Stil in einem Bauernhaus. Gute Ausstattung mit Aussenbereich und Grill. Der Empfang und die Versorgung waren sehr gut und herzlich. Wir waren zur Zeit der Tulpenblüte Ende April dort. Wunderschöne Farben auf den Feldern ringsum. Zum Strand ist es eine halbe Stunde zu Fuß. Nächster Supermarkt 700m. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in umliegenden Zielen, wie Alkmaar, Hoorn oder Amsterdam. Wir können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen.
