"The room was comfortable enough, but I had to ask the maid after our first night of staying there to replace the burgundy cover that was on the end of our bed. It was full of little grey hairs, almost something that you would get from a cat or dog. I know it wasn’t my hair because I have shoulder length, brown hair. Also, I have never been to a hotel where they didn’t put out a small bottle of lotion, which was the case for me. Was that a big deal? No, not in the grand scheme of things but I thought it was worth mentioning. Also, no wash clothes in our bathroom until I asked the maid to make sure we had some after she cleaned our room. After the first night of our room being stuffy and hot, we realized the a/c wasn’t working. The front desk supervisor did offer us a new room which we gladly took. After moving rooms, everything with the a/c was ok, but then the coffee pot didn’t work. Again, the desk supervisor had another one put in our room which worked fine. I do want to give a huge shoutout to a maintenance gentleman named Hector. He was the one that came up to our original room to fix the a/c. I told him we moved rooms and right away he went to our new room to make sure that the a/c unit was working properly, which it was. Honestly, how doesn’t hotel staff not check that everything is in working order before the next guests come in? We paid good money to stay there and we felt that it was sub par. The hotel and rooms could use a major overhaul and update."
