"We love visiting Silverton and largely because we have an EV we choose to stay at Wyman for the charging that is available there. The fall color change this year was perfectly aligned with our visit and we’ll not forget what we saw on the daily treks we made towards Ouray. The only input I have is that in general it is best to put EV chargers in parking spots which are relatively undesirable. Of the 4 chargers at the hotel 2 are in prime spots right in front of the hotel so more often than not they are unavailable not because they are being used but because an ICE is parked there. It was never problematical for us but on a busy weekend we’d probably be inclined to take our ICE and eliminate the possibility of not having enough charge for the days adventures due to unavailability of chargers.
