Downtown Silverton Historic Mountain Home, White Wolf Haus

This remodeled historic home is in a prime location at the quiet north end of 'notorious' Blair Street and a one-block walk from the main avenue. A quaint Victorian on the outside, it features all the modern-day conveniences and comforts on the inside. The house is located on a corner lot so there is plenty of parking in the yard for trucks and trailers.

GREAT VALUE. This house is sunny, cozy and perfect for good friends or two small families. A kitchen island bar makes for a fun social atmosphere. A sunny porch with views, a wood-burning stove,and a ski-tuning shop make this the perfect base camp for your Silverton adventures.

This 1200 sf house has four bedrooms on two floors and sleeps up to 10. There are two small bedrooms with one having a queen bed and the other has a full-size bed with an additional twin bed. Another bedroom has a king bed and full-size futon. Then there's a very small room with a bunk bed. In the living room, the oversized memory-foam window den can sleep a tall adult. (And it's perfect for naps in the sunshine!)

This Silverton house is perfectly set up and was an incredible base for exploring the San Juans. The house itself is clean, cozy, roomy, and had everything we needed for a week long stay. It was right around the corner from everything in town and Silverton itself was a joy to stay in. We would absolutely stay here again on a future visit!

Lovely views

We were in Silverton for the scenery and hiking. This house was the perfect spot for both. We loved sitting out on the front porch in the evenings. The view of the surrounding mountains is incredible. Friendly little town too. The house had everything we needed. The only drawback is the road outside is louder than expected at night. Many people hauling trailers even in the middle of the night. Not bad with the windows shut but surprising in a town so small. Maybe that is just a problem in the summer. Even with the little bit of road noise, it is a great place. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome lodging in Silverton

The White Wolf Haus was fantastic! Perfect for a 6-man ski vacation. Definitely an authentic rustic mining town cabin experience. The wood stove heated the place well, and there was plenty of wood. Well-stocked kitchen with basic spices and pots/pans/utensils. Easy check in and check out process. Highly recommended!

Everything about this place is good. The location is walking distance to restaurants, shops, the Mining Museum and trailheads for hiking. The Mining Museum is a must see!

Great weekend away

We had a great weekend at the White Wolf Haus. We brought our parents who are visiting, our 4 month old baby, and our old dog. The house is clean and cozy and easy walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in town. We could have easily fit another whole family in there with us. We would definitely rent this place again!

White Wolf Haus is great

This is our third time staying at the White Wolf Haus and we made some more great memories. It holds a group comfortably with the nice kitchen island to sit around while cooking and the comfortable living room to hang out in. The sunny porch is perfect after skiing. We’ll return!

Andrew's place was cozy and full of charm. I loved the personal touches and loved reading about the work he put in to make the White Wolf Haus a home. While we didn't need to use much and stayed for 2 nights, there are plenty of amenities provided in the rental for your convenience. I would definitely recommend for both short and long stays no matter the occasion!

We had a great stay! The house is located at the end of Blair Street, which is one of the main shopping areas and very convenient for walking. We were there for a wedding that was taking place at the Kendall Mountain Community center, which was right up the street and easy to walk to.the house was what we needed, with a queen room on the first floor, which was ideal for my mom, who has difficulty with stairs. The two upstairs bedrooms worked great for myself and my husband as well as my son. Upstairs stays pretty warm, so the fans were appreciated! The windows were easy to open and great for cooling off the upstairs. We did start a fire in the evenings to keep the downstairs warm. The wood provided as well as the directions by the wood stove worked great! Communication with the host was lightning fast, and he was very accommodating! Thanks so much!
