"the property was in a very good location if you like to be by the beach, not very touristy area. Locals are very friendly and happy to assist you on anything you may need. They town and roads are very safe and we never felt unsafe. the place comes with a great cook, she is sweet and helpful. We had the pool just for ourselves, the owners recommended drivers to help us get to our activities, and they got us to other beautiful places not in the web. the only upgrade the living room has no AC, some days we really need it. Jamaica needs more tourists to stay in these local properties, not in Luxurious resorts that will not let you/guide you to go out and explore the beauty of the cities. will come back for sure to visit all the new friends!"

"The villa and rooms were clean. The host was very helpful with all the questions I asked and responded in a timely manner.The kitchen was well equipped, especially with the two great cooks who took great care of our family of 6. (2 adults and 4 children). They did not disappoint!Coming from the UK gratuity is not second nature, in many areas of work. I stayed 2 lovely weeks at this villa and the ladies went above and beyond looking after us. My suggestion to anyone coming to these villas in Duncans Bay with cook/house keeper. Not just this one. Please! A minimum of 10% would be reasonable."

"Butterfly Villa is wonderful home for a week in Jamaica. Our host, Beverly, was pretty easy to reach and was helpful throughout our rental process, while preparing for our trip, and even called to check on us during our stay. The property is just as the pictures show. The space was more than enough for our family of 4. The staff kept the property clean inside and out all week. Our chef made terrific breakfasts and dinners each day. The beach is clean and the water clear blue at the private beach. Our bus driver was great too! We had no trouble with mosquitos or other bugs. A/C and ceiling fans in bedrooms made rest easy. Beds were firm but still comfortable. We would definitely make a return trip!"

"Above board ambience!! Peaceful view, great location for the beach. Great house layout for a large group. Very clean and comfortable furniture, very pleasant, helpful, hospitable and good natured staff. They made our time at the villa so enjoyable. One suggestion would be deck fans, and it would be nice to have an assortment of teas at the bar."

"Nice open cottage. I didn’t realize the chef stays in the cottage too - not in the house with you but in a close by room. Chef was amazing to have. Lots of cute dogs and cats! Beach was great but it is iron shore. Great place overall."
