Top Silence Please Hotel Reviews
PUBLIC, an Ian Schrager hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times but this time I was surprise. I called the front desk to inform them that my TV was not working. They sent an electrician up to my room and he was unable to repair it; he informed me that he’ll tell the front desk and they’ll give me a call to switch my room with a working tv. The front desk never called; so I had to call them. A gentlemen picked up and was immediately rude and informed me, “well we’ll just give you a $50 credit; so what would you like to do…” I politely hung the phone up, packed my things and checked out early within the next 2hrs; I went to the front desk a polite lady named Ms.Clark checked me about and I booked at another hotel for night. I was suppose to stay from Friday to Sunday; but after that rude call of the unprofessional gentlemen I simply packed my stuff and checked out early."

The Allen Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Allen hotel was amazing! There are so many hotels to choose from when visiting the city, it’s overwhelming. We were so glad we landed on The Allen Hotel! We will definitely stay here every time we visit going forward. Every aspect of our stay was genuinely amazing. The front desk staff were so helpful! The overall property and room were safe and clean, the bed comfortable, the AC worked gloriously well and the balcony was so nice to have attached to our room. It was lovely sitting on the balcony and watching/listening to the hustle and bustle of the city. Even being on the second floor there was minimal noise inside the room at night. There was a mini fridge and iron and lots of storage for our luggage. Space was no issue. The bathroom was clean and shower was fantastic. No carpet in the rooms!!! 🙌 Not to mention that the location is top tier! Right on the cusp of China Town and close to lots of wonderful restaurants, cafes, stores, green spaces and two subway stations. The hotel is small enough that there was never a wait for the elevator (what a blessing— we’ve stayed elsewhere where you could expect a 15+ minute wait during busy times.) Also there is a rooftop with awesome sunset and sky line views! It was a great spot to soak in the city. Anyways, I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!"
Canal Loft Hotel
8/10 Good
"It was relatively inexpensive to stay at as opposed to options in Times Square and walking distance to subways to travel uptown from Chinatown in lower Manhattan."
