"Be aware that this is a almost 100-year-old property and that as such, it requires a huge amount of upkeep . In this case, I understand that the owners do not live at the property and the innkeepers are hired help. We stayed here three nights and the breakfasts were all very good . The rooms are quite variable in size and our room was reasonably clean. Older Windows may not open and there is no HVAC and heating is done through radiators. Therefore the air may seem (and be) a little stagnant,and some things in and around the property might need attention. Know these things going in and you may not be disappointed. There is a comfortable reception area with Nespresso coffee and teas. There is no elevator, so there will be some schlepping of bags. All in all , for us, it was a good experience. But the property still needs attention."
