"This guesthouse is exceptional. Especially for families, but for anyone who likes a green oasis with animals and plants in every corner. The animals are well taken care of, there are activities for kids and adults. The food is delicious. "My friend and I stayed here during a trip to climb Mount Toubkal and it couldn't have been better. From the moment we arrived to departure we were treated exceptionally well by all the staff at the hotel who were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful in every way. I would thoroughly recommmend this hotel to anyone wishing to spend time in the village of Imlil and its surroundings. My friend and I both enjoyed our stay, the food, the views and the peace and quiet temendously."

"The Ecolodge was amazing set in the picturesque low Atlas mountains. From the moment we arrive the team working there could not have made us feel more welcome and looked after. The swimming pool was a welcome relief as we arrived in a heat wave. Unfortunately due to the heat, we could not do our planned trek, but the pool and service from the team made up for it. "Great stay at Esmeralda, the family in charge was very helpful and their tagines are very tasty (even the cat loved the carrots therein!) Good choice of activities at reasonable prices (they don't advertise it but besides noisy quads and buggies, they also have e-bikes, highly recommended for a desert ride... if you're used to cycling)"

"It was a pleasant stay with nice owners and sweet staff. Beautiful room with comfortable bed and with large terrace with view of the beautiful Atlas Mountains. The house is somewhat remote on an unpaved road, it is quiet and has a tasteful Moroccan decor, beautiful garden with swimming pool and sunbeds and several seating areas. The breakfast was good and dinner was delicious!"

"I nearly cancelled my stay here, with my 10 year old, when I read the recent reviews leading up to our stay. But my son loves swimming and water parks, so I thought we’d give it a go and not expect too much; we were only staying for 3 nights. It far exceeded my expectations and we had a great time here. The hotel and waterpark is tired, in places, and it’s not luxury, but the lovely staff and my son’s smiles made up for that. The all inclusive food was nice. I can imagine it might get repetitive after a week, but there are so many options. It was busy at peak meal times, but we were there in high season so can’t expect a peaceful dinner. The staff work incredibly hard to keep fresh food coming out and tables cleared and cleaned. We were allowed to stay after we checked out, until 6pm as my son was enjoying it so much. We would definitely go back, for another short stay, if we go to Marrakesh again. "

"Wow, what an absolutely fabulous place! It’s exactly what we hoped for - peace and tranquility. The staff are superb and cannot do enough for you. The most instagram worthy place I have ever been to! Of note for those planning a trip, we stayed in the ‘low season’ (I.e. July/August). The hotel was only 20-30% full which made the stay feel even more intimate. We guess people are put off by the temperatures in Marrakesh, however it’s at least 5-10 degrees cooler in the mountains. Our stay was hot but definitely tolerable! "

"I came with my husband for honey moon, the staff were amazing they made up the room for us with flowers and nice decoration for our arrival, Sana was really nice and helpful, and all staff without exception. The hotel was so clean the food amazing and it’s like home made. It’s more advisable for romantic stay, very quiet and nice scenery from the balcony especially at night. Also I would advise people to have their own car to be able to commute to Marakesh or go to nearby places as it’s a bit in the middle of nowhere. Very much recommended, you won’t be disappointed ."

"A special place we went back to by nostalgia Just 1 hick We went out for dinner once and when we came back the entrance door of the reception was locked...by chance we saw another sideway we took which took us inside the property... But a charming place and nice furniture . Staff very nice thank you Television in the bedroom not working but they are in the mountains..so we can expect this... "
