Our stay was absolutely amazing!! We made beautiful memories with our family. The cabin is cozy, and kitchen fully stocked with all the utilities. Host is very responsive. We will definitely be returning next year!
The home was the perfect fit for a family of 10. Two stories that had amenities on both levels. Game room was a hit with the kids and upper floor guests. Plenty of restrooms to complement the 6 rooms. Only suggestion is to improve the hot water distribution for showers. Everything else was amazing.
It was pretty awesome. My husband was impressed with never running out of hot water as we all showered lol. The Elk were beautiful walking through the yard! The space was perfect for three families and the host was very helpful, communicated, and helped us with some left behind belongings. Thank you!!
There were eight of my siblings who all rode their motorcycles up the mountain. The road was paved to the cabin, and plenty of parking for the bikes. We had a wonderful time, everyone loved the cabin! Very well stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfy. Plenty of linens. Even though it is located in a community, it felt very secluded and peaceful. Absolutely loved it!
The cabin was in a great location, easy to find. My first impression after arrival was how clean and well kept the cabin is. The only thing that needed cleaning was the grill outside. I would definitely recommend this cabin to other family and friends. We went on our first brother/sister and spouses vacation and it was perfect. 08/2023
Every year our group of guys likes to get together for a men's fishing weekend. This year we rented this "cabin" and are so glad we did. Fishing was rained/snowed out due to blizzard. But still had a great time with the large game room, pool table, big screen tvs, etc. Beds were comfortable, some with their own bathrooms, back yard was beautiful and so was the snow that blanketed everything. We would definitely go back.
This was our annual get-away with our adult children and 2 teen-age grandsons. It was wonderful having adequate bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We especially enjoyed the impressive game room and large dining room table. The gourmet kitchen was well-stocked (with sugar) so we made fresh hummingbird food, as they were approaching the empty feeders. They were back within minutes! My husband and I were amazed early one morning to watch approx 15 elk parade through the back of the property! Unfortunately, the boys were out fishing and missed them, but I did capture brief video. The house was clean and well maintained and the owner was very helpful and accommodating and responded quickly. I would highly recommend this beautiful home. You won't be disappointed with the quiet location!
We loved this cabin, perfect neighborhood and everything worked out just like we wanted. The kitchen is stocked well and the beds were great. Definitely somewhere we would return to.
This cabin was beautiful down to the little touches! The host decorated for Christmas and tree upstairs was incredible! The cabin was big enough to accommodate all of our family (10 of us) and there were plenty of bathrooms, iykyk! We will be back!
I thought I posted this earlier but yes this is a great place to stay! The cabin was clean and spacious and great for the 14 of us! I really enjoyed the backwards where we could get outside and take a walk in the woods!
I was not able to attend due to my husband's unexpected illness, but his siblings thoroughly enjoyed their stay. They were very impressed with the organization and labels in the kitchen, and even though it felt very secluded and peaceful, a grocery store was nearby. They enjoyed watching an elk bugle from the house. There were multiple dining areas and secluded areas if someone wanted to be alone. Most of bedrooms had separate bathrooms, and there were extra pillows and blankets.
There are six beautiful bedrooms, an enormous game room, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living rooms. We had a large family gathering and everyone had their own space. The place is gorgeous inside and outside. Much nicer and so much less expensive than trying to get hotel rooms. Fantastic experience.
This was a really beautiful home and neighborhood to stay in! The home is very spacious, and the neighborhood is so quiet. There was 10 of us and we had a great time and plenty of room. You feel like you're in the middle of the wilderness, but town is like 5-10 minutes away.
Dana, our host was very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you once again Dana!
As we approached Show Low from the West we didn’t see the pine trees that would give us the forest experience we were expecting… and then it met us, along with about a dozen elk! The cabin is somehow nestled in trees and remote enough- yet is only removed from the conveniences of a grocery store by mere minutes. We were able to walk behind the house and watch the elk eat from the trees. Inside the house were both all of the conveniences you could hope for, and still more surprises. The kitchen was stocked with anything we needed for baking and cooking- and the labeling was a nice touch. The basketball shooting game got a lot of use. The rooms were not just comfortable, the decor throughout was so thoughtful. Our entire family was so impressed with everything this cabin had to offer. This was our 5th year finding a Christmas cabin getaway for our family group- and this has now set a new bar. Would highly recommend!
The host had great communication and accommodated a special request. The home is beautiful, specious, and clean. The home is in a great location with beautiful views off the back porch. The home is far enough away to enjoy the cooler weather but just a short drive from the valley. The home is just up the road from stores incase you forget something. There were games for our teen age kids to play and a huge back patio for us adults to enjoy. The home was perfect and I had a blast celebrating my birthday with family and friends! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
