Cozy Cub Cabin

Check in was super easy, easy to get into the cabin. Nice quiet area. They allowed dogs which was a big deal for us. It was a very nice weekend and three adults were very comfortable there

Not what we were expecting…the way it was listed we thought would be more secluded on the 1 acre. Not as clean as we would have liked spiderwebs dusty oven was dirty not much room to sit on the potty dog barking non stop every morning. Would not rent again.

Quiet weekend get away

We came to the cozy cub cabin for a long weekend getaway and to ski at sunrise. We love the location there is great privacy and a peaceful environment. We stayed there two years ago and we’re excited it was available to go back to.

Amazing Property

This place was cozy and nice. We had a weekend getaway from the kids with a wedding up here and we’re able to completely detach and go back to the basics. It was awesome.

Cozy cub cabin is exactly that, a clean, cozy, little cabin!

The cabin was neat and clean. The kitchen was well supplied with all the cooking utensils you could ask for. The pellet fireplace worked well to heat the cabin, sufficient blankets and bedding were provided to keep the cold away. Unfortunately, with the wind, I was unable to enjoy the really nice porch and fire pit out back, but next time I'll check the weather! The cabin lived up to it's name, Cozy Cub Cabin. The only thing I would have added was cable service, had to go to a local bar to watch the playoff games, but that wasn't much if a problem! I give my experience 2 👍👍 thumbs up!!!

Living room furniture not comfy, would have liked satellite tv but not a deal breaker and toilet location kind of awkward, shower was nice and kitchen well stocked with pots and pans etc otherwise clean and well located close to everything but quiet

Overall cozy little cabin nice area amongst the Pines if you like quiet no Wi-Fi or TV service. Personally to quiet for me without TV but had good time.

Cozy Cub Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I wish to happen is that the broken window screens get replaced so that your guests can open the windows without allowing access for the bugs to get into the cabin. Otherwise we were very happy. We loved sitting out on the front porch. So peaceful and relaxing. Jeremy was very pleasant and his communications were greatly appreciated. We would visit again.

Winter getaway

My wife and I loved the location of this cabin. It snowed for two days while we were there. It made the cabin that much more enjoyable. Something you notice right away, it’s so very quiet. We thought we might miss the Internet and WiFi. Not so at all. It’s just so very quiet and relaxing. We did catch up on a lot of reading. Would stay here again, looking forward to a Spring/ Summer stay

Cosy is a great description

I'm 6'5" tall, close to 300 lb. This cabin was a little too cozy (small) for me. The large bed takes up the entire room. The configuration of the bathroom is less than desirable for someone my size. It was great for a couple nights and was pet friendly, so it suited our needs for that short of a time.

Manage your expectations

The cabin is as advertised. It is in a heavily wooded area making the large front porch a nice place to relax. It is in a good location close to activities. It is also a rustic experience at a price well below what you would pay for luxury so it is a fair trade but know what you are getting into. Ratings seem to be relative to price and not relative to quality of accommodations. That is, if the price were higher, ratings might more accurately reflect the condition of the cabin.No TV, no WiFi (as advertised) but I was surprised how much that changed the experience. The lack of convenience seemed to amplify other shortcomings. Cell service is good so you can hotspot, but that your data plan.It is peaceful when the dogs aren’t barking…so many dogs. I love dogs but I am not a fan of constant barking (and people yelling at their barking dog)Saying the cabin is clean is a stretch. Silverware in the tray has food deposits, plates are on a dusty shelf, all the knobs are sticky. You just want to wash everything before you use it.Kitchen counter space is limited but putting the microwave out of reach on top of the fridge is not a great solution.Bed linens are thin, some with holes.Then there is toilet issue mentioned in other reviews.It is what we paid for, the rating should be considered relative to price, not other properties. Compared with a tent it is a 10, to a reasonable hotel it is a 5.

Great getaway!

My best friend and I stayed at this property and loved it! It was quiet and exactly what we needed to unwind. There are restaurants, shops, and things to do nearby, which was nice, though not what we focused on. There is no wifi and we knew that going into our weekend. We connected the blu-ray player to my phone Hotspot and watched a movie on Amazon prime one night. Worked GREAT! The couch is super comfortable to relax on. The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the throw blankets ready for use. It was 24° in the morning and all that was missing was snow. Too bad the owners can't control the weather 😉 We arrived at night and I really recommend reading how to get to the house before you leave if you plan to arrive after dark. We were lost for 10 minutes before re-reading the instructions twice and figuring it out. We had a good laugh at ourselves over that one.
