"The bed was the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. The pillows and sheets were also very soft. The shower had very good water pressure. I wish there would have been a Keurig as coffee options in the area at 7am were limited."
Starlight Shores - Serene Lakefront Retreat: Explore and Unwind
8/10 Good
"I liked the place and it is in a good and quiet area, nice view of the lake, spacious house for 7 people, they just have to improve the cleaning of the floor and cover them beds and sheets, smell old. But the others were fine."
Cobblestone Waterfront cottage 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sauna at Lion Head
10/10 Excellent
"Great cottage. Everything you need to be comfortable. Best beach fire around with super comfortable chairs. We had an amazing time and would be definitely look to see if this cottage is available if we are in the area. While we didn’t need, loved that each room had their own temperature control unit."
"This property is gorgeous!! I did not want to leave. Every detail was beautifully planned. The beds were comfortable The deck and beach area were very spacious. We would have enjoyed the more had the weather cooperated but we did get to enjoy them the first night. There were 5 kayaks available to use. The beach is rocks, not sand to access the water, though the fire pit and lounge chairs are on a sandy beach. The property is very private and about a 15ish minute drive from Hwy 6. It takes about 25 min to drive to Tobemory Highly recommend this property!! You will love it."
Lakeside Cottage Retreat:Serene Getaway with Breathtaking Sunsets (Pet-Friendly)
10/10 Excellent
"This cottage had the perfect location to explore the park, Tobermory & the upper Bruce peninsula. It is in the most peaceful, quiet "neighborhood"....I went for a run twice & we walked our dog everyday safely with no concerns. The home was very clean & well stocked. We had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfy, bedside lamps, ceiling fans, space heaters, charging station.....the list goes on, conveniences were thoughtfully available. This is appreciably one of the few dog friendly homes who actually had a setup for our dog- elevated stand with bowls & a mat. What the owner has here above & beyond anything else is the phenomenal view 24/7. The lake can be seen from the living room, kitchen & dining area thanks to the large windows across the entire back of the house- sunrises, sunsets, fog on the lake, storm rolling in, windy waves, peaceful flat calm water.....you can see it all, all day & night. The deck spreads across the entire back of the home with a nice grass yard to enjoy as well as trees filled with songbirds. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening, we took the kayaks for a paddle one afternoon & we relaxed in the Adirondack chairs almost everyday. We had a few snowshoe hare in the yard every day too. One evening there was no wind, no birds, no water lapping on the shore, no sound...I can't remember the last time I had that much of a peaceful silence. Thank you Michael for a wonderful stay & much needed getaway. We would rent your place again in a heartbeat"
