"This island is a truly beautiful place to visit. Our host Mitch ,left lots of useful information inside our room. Plus his own personal knowledge. If you want amazing hill views , a relaxed environment and friendly locals it's a great place to visit.
Allendale house is very easy to find. Get off the ferry .. turn left and aim up hill. Take your second left and your there. Making it an easy walk into Brodick. Good news for people wanting to do goat fell .
The main road also goes to holy island , a nice walk featuring a waterfall and the giants graves close by.

"The property is excellent and very clean. It is roomier than it appears from the pictures. The bed is very comfortable and warm, just right for a good night's sleep after exploring Arran. The cottage is extremely well equipped and ideally located for the small village of Lamlash, a few minutes walk to a Coop supermarket, restaurants, hotels and cafes. It is a perfect base to explore Arran. Isobel is a welcoming and helpful host.We stayed in the cottage in June and came back again, which tells you something."
