This property is set in beautiful surroundings, is exceptionally clean, welcoming and a wonderful place to stay. Louise was a fabulous host, we'd strongly recommend visiting and we are looking forward to coming back.
Louise is the perfect host, beautiful barn, gorgeous views. This was our 2nd visit here and again it did not disappoint. Always lovely and clean, with lovely treats on arrival. Definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Will definitely be coming again x
Look no further and stay here! Amazing accommodation in the Cotswolds.
Beautiful meticulously renovated barn in the Cotswolds. Easy location to access the countryside and Stratford and Warwick. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and have thought of every detail one may need while traveling to feel at home. Wecan't wait to return!. tohome.
So serene and beautiful. Close to many charming towns. A daily walk out the door to a small village was so inviting as well as morning coffee watching the waddling ducks in the gardens or pond. Our hosts were lovely people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for opening up your VRBO to share with others.
Well appointed and equipped, comfortable and cozy accommodation. The garden on the property is beautiful and available for guests to enjoy. The hosts, Louise and Paul, are friendly, welcoming and very responsive to all questions and requests. The location is idyllic with fields, hedges, forest and ponds all around. Also an easy drive to beautiful villages and attractions: Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Cirencester, Broadway, Woodstock, Chastleton House, Snowshill, Rollright Rocks (among others!). We stayed here 13 nights while exploring the Cotswolds and enjoyed every moment!
Clean and modern lodging in the heart of the Cotswolds. We had breakfast on the patio in the morning while ducklings were wandering with their mom. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need. The host graciously left some food for us in the fridge. We had a wonderful time, and had no problem communicating with the host. The view from the living room is gorgeous. Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you, Louise!
We're so glad we stayed at Louise and Paul's stunning property for 5 days. Oh, the views! Whether sitting pond-side watching the ducks and birds, or enjoying breakfast at our little table overlooking the gardens through the wall of windows, the views and setting were exquisite! Paul and Louise were such gracious hosts, and we would definitely stay here again if visiting the Cotswolds. Easy access to all that we wanted to experience. 5 stars for comfort as well. Thank you again for a memorable experience!

We had a lovely time staying at this property. The cottage was spacious, clean and cosy, perfect for a quiet getaway. In the morning it was lovely to wake up to a scenic view.
There was lots of recommendations on where to dine and things to do locally.
The host, Louise, was lovely and helpful. The locals were also lovely as we ended up visiting a pop up pup locally to have a drink and it felt like a friendly, close community. The garden at the property is beautiful and we enjoyed having breakfast out there, overlooking the lovely scenery. We would definitely reccomend for anyone who fancies a nice beak in the cotswolds.
My husband and I are touring England for our 30th wedding anniversary. We chose this place for one of our stops along our journey. Louis was wonderful from the very beginning of our booking until we pulled out to leave. She provided many ideas of things to do, places to visit, and great restaurants to enjoy.
Louis was available for any needs we may have had during our stay and her response time via VRBO messaging was super fast!
The place was very clean, comfortable, and had extras that we haven’t encountered before during a VRBO stay anywhere else. Louis provided items in the kitchenette that were a welcomed surprise from milk, juice, coffee, tea, snacks, bread, cookies, and breakfast items. It was truly a special place and one of the highlights of our trip. The outside area was pleasant as well with beautiful gardens, a pond, and a cute family of ducks to watch as you relax.
Thank you Louis for the memories.
We had a lovely weekend here and really enjoyed the beautiful views of the garden and pond. Lovely and peaceful and communication with Louise was excellent
Lovely views over the pond. Very high quality products in the welcome hamper which were thoroughly enjoyed. The barn was finished to a high standard and was in a peaceful location close to many places to visit.

This was a wonderful property to stay in the Cotswold area. It is a cozy barn with lots of beautiful details. Paul and Loise are very gracious hosts that make the stay even better. Louise has a list of popular sites to visit around the area to keep you busy and enjoy what the Cotswolds are all about. Would highly recommend this property for a comfortable friendly place to enjoy the area.
Very comfortable accommodation. Lovely outlook overlooking gardens and pond on one side and fields on the other (saw a pheasant there!). Good base for exploring the Cotswolds.
We could not have asked for a better cottage! The accommodations were amazing. The property was so beautiful and the host was so lovely. We are from the United States and we were looking for the perfect Cotswold cottage and we could not have picked a better place andn a better host. Stunning view and stay!! We will definitely come back!
Was a pleasure to stay in this barn. It’s situated in a great location in the Cotswolds. Louise is a really good host. Her place is as great as it looks (even better when you get there). Would highly recommend.
Louise and Paul are such wonderful, thoughtful hosts! They have thought of everything! The property is just as beautiful as pictured. It is easy to get to, and on a quiet street. And the garden is pure magic. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
Myself and my partner had the most wonderful stay at Louise’s barn. We were welcomed with a lovely hamper, and shown around the beautiful property by Louise. The blissful surroundings and high qualify finish of the barn was the perfect location to celebrate a special birthday. We left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. A huge thank you to Louise for being such a fantastic host - we will certainly be returning!

Lovely, clean property and really well maintained. We were provided with a nice welcome pack of essentials such as bread and milk which was handy! Comfy bed, large seating area and access to on demand essentials as needed.Hard to find any fault with the place if honest and we really enjoyed our time here. Lovely locations dotted nearby and if dining out we were provided with a nice list of 'picks' which came recommended and we managed to book our meals no problem and the meals were ace and in that 'country pub' style we were expecting. Would visit again without question.
If you are looking for a beautiful modern farmhouse cottage in an idyllic setting, look no more. 15 to 20 minutes from some of the more stunning sights and restaurants in the Cotswold, this is truly a perfect place to relax and enjoy. The hosts - Louise and Paul, went way beyond our expectations in making the home comfortable and our stay enjoyable. Only left today but already planning our next visit. You certainly won't be disappointed - everything was perfect - definitely 5 star. Be sure to ask Louise for some restaurant suggestions - she sent us to some of the best.
I can't even say enough positive things about the Great Wolford property! From the minute you pull into the driveway you are surrounded by the most serene landscape. From the English garden to the quaint pond with ducks, to the peaceful sitting area, to the historic house and cottage, you are taken away to an amazing place that makes you forget everything. Louise and Paul are incredible hosts that make you feel so welcome. When you walk up the stairs in the cottage to your living quarters you are surrounded by more beauty as you look out the picturesque windows overlooking the Cotswold farmland. No matter where you look on this property the views are amazing. Honestly if we didn't have plans to go to the British Grand Prix I would have spent way more time enjoying the local surroundings. But that will be for a next time because we are definitely coming back!! Wendy
A stunning contemporary cottage, situated in its own piece of paradise. An absolute jewel of a location. Birds, fish, wildlife. So peaceful and tranquil. The views are second to none. The cottage is spotlessly clean, fully furnished & equipped to very high standards.
Louise and Paul are excellent hosts. Very friendly, helpful and provided everything we could possibly need. It was our honeymoon & we arrived to find a lovely card & bottle of bubbly to help us celebrate. It was also Easter and there mini eggs & bunny crumpets. Nothing was overlooked by Louise and Paul, they thought of everything. They even put the loungers out for us to enjoy the sun. If you’re looking for somewhere for total relaxation and to escape the rat race this is the place for you! We didn’t want to leave. Christmas Cottage is the most perfect place we’ve ever stayed. And Louise and Paul are the best hosts. We will be back again.
