**OTHER THINGS TO NOTE**
Security Cameras: Please note we have two exterior cameras for security purposes - one in front of the garage facing the driveway and one on the side of the garage facing the driveway and part of the side yard.
Drinking Water: Our well water tastes great. We have a whole house filter and there is a second filter in the fridge. Please bring your reusable water bottles and save money and our planet from plastics. Thanks!
Internet: With Starlink Internet, you can combine work and play. On average we get 300MBPS down / 100MBPS up which is great for Zoom calls for your whole group.
Electric Vehicle Charging (Additional Cost): We have a level 2 EV charger in the garage for an additional cost. We will let you know exactly how much you used during your stay and charge you what the power company will charge us for KWH used at the end of your trip. Tesla owners, don’t forget to get your J1772 adapter!
Winter Driving AWD/4WD: In winter, typically November through April, you should plan to travel to our home in a 4WD/AWD Although we try to keep the short drive from the highway to our home plowed in winter, it’s often icy and snowed in right after winter storms. We do not accept last minute cancellations or changes to the reservation for not being able to reach our home in a 2WD vehicle.
Heating: We have Mitsubishi Heat Pump in the living area and the downstairs bedrooms. The loft gets toasty from the heater in the living room. There's also a backup whole house kerosene heater in the living room in case of power outages.
Cooling: Although our heat pump can keep you cool on hot days in summer, we are at 4500 ft, among dense 100+ foot trees and next to a creek. The house is naturally pleasant all summer and never gets above 80F anytime of the day.

This cabin was just 15 minutes outside of Lassen Volcanic National Park (north gate at Manzanita Lake) and in the forest on a creek. Very spacious and well equipped for our family of 4. We really enjoyed our stay!
Wonderful location in the woods, and a beautiful, well-maintained property. Feels like it might be a little big for two people, but it’s perfect for medium-size groups. Very communicative, friendly, and accommodating hosts. I would definitely stay again.
Fantastic house. Everything you need for a nice trip away. Very clean and ample areas to unwind. Great owners who offered tons of local tips. Definitely the perfect place to stay near Lasssen
Location just as described. Great accomodations. Very nice area to sit along creek with fire pit and listen to the water. Extremely peaceful. Would recommend and would stay again if coming back to Lassen.
My spouse, my parents, two friends, my aunt, a cousin, and I all had a great week stay together at this spot. We had everything we needed to make meals and were close to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend.
What a great stay! It all started with great communication about the planning needed for navigating snowy mountain roads, great and responsive answers to the few questions we had, and then the stay itself was fantastic. Incredibly clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, fast WiFi, and hot showers with lots of water pressure. Will definitely book again.
Our family greatly enjoyed the house and the location, with great views of the creek and a short driving distance to the Manzanita lake and the sledding hill. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!
The house was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed sitting by the river during our downtime. We thought the location was very convenient. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.
This place was a perfect weekend getaway for us and to enjoy the outdoors. Our kiddos loved the creek outside the house and it's a quick drive to Lassen National Park. The house was clean, organized and clearly labeled.
What a beautiful home. Our stay was great with very comfortable beds and very well stocked kitchen and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed our meals on the spacious deck and loved sitting right beside the river to just be. Rekha and Shyam were wonderful hosts. They answered our questions immediately and checked in with us often. I hope I will be lucky enough to come back to this part of the country to stay here again. There is so much to do and the countryside is beautiful.
The house is cozy, clean and nestled in beautiful woods. We liked being so close to Lassen but also found several trails through the woods near the house. The owners were quick and kind with our questions. We will definitely be back!
The location for Lassen is excellent. You can make short day trips to Burney Falls, Redding, and more. The cabin itself is lovely, exactly as shown in the photos. Very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The creek in the backyard is so picturesque! The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We had a great trip!
We had our family and friends stay with us over the Christmas holiday. Was a great cabin- lots of space and had everything you need! We caught some snow near the creek and played board games. Super fun!
We have stayed in a lot of cabins around Northern California and this cabin is by far the best of all of them. Rekha and Shyam have done a great job with all the little extra touches to make a truly comfortable stay and the creek side setting is amazing. Morning coffee on the deck was one of our highlights of the trip! Cabin is very clean and has everything you would need. And we definitely appreciated the beds with their memory foam mattresses which seem to be quite rare for cabin rentals! Overall a great place to stay and we’ll definitely be looking to book again next summer.
Hosts were great with communication, stayed informed and connected. Quick response. Cabin was clean, cozy and just like the photos. The deck and outdoors are amazing and peaceful. Everything you need for a home away from home is provided. Just bring groceries! We drove 10mins to Manzanita lake and Lassen National Forest loop trail for a surprise dusting of snow! Would definitely stay again.
The property is mesmerizing. The trees, stream and sky are Mother Nature at it's best. The multiple decks are situated to provide outdoor comfort all day long. The house is lovely and we felt at home as soon as we walked in. It is a brief, easy drive to Lassen NP entrance. Our host checked in regularly with us which made the stay personal and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.
This place is so beautiful, inside and out! It's right on the creek and there is plenty of seating to enjoy the view and the sound of the water. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but there was a ton of firewood available if we'd had the time. The kitchen was very well stocked, especially for a coffee lover - a nice glass pourover set, a mokapot, a french press, and a traditional coffee maker, plus a coffee grinder and milk frother! The loft king bed was luxurious and so comfortable. The hosts were amazing and super responsive to questions. Overall I could not be happier with our stay and I hope to be back with a larger group in the future!
This house was just perfect for my husband and I and our 16 year old daughter and her friend. Well placed bedrooms upstairs and downstairs with separate bathrooms on each floor so we were all comfortable and had enough space. The home is very well equipped and we had everything we needed to cook all 5 days we were there. We hiked and the girls rode their mountain bikes on the numerous fire roads near the house. Best was the quiet except for the sound of rain and the creek below. Rekha and Shyam and very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall quite a perfect place for us!
