"The hotel is old; beat up furniture, worn fixtures, the lamp and the chargers didn’t work, the bathroom faucet dribbled water at best, there was a constant mechanical bang from the elevator or plumbing mechanics. The carpet is worn, and on the roof which was visible from my floor there were bags of trash left outside."

"Overall it was a pleasant stay. Took a bit to check in and then front desk staff seemed to be absent quite a bit. Did have an issue with an extremely loud family arriving at 1 am with doors slamming for over an hour. No one was at the front desk when we called to ask for assistance. Hotel has a bar but it was never open. They also offer breakfast but also never saw it open. It was clean and comfortable just not overly friendly."

"This hotel is higher on the cost spectrum. No problem as it quite an attractive property so I opt for it. Have stayed maybe 10 times. Frankly not again. First, I am so unhappy with expensive hotels nickle & diming guests. Charging for things that, totally acceptable but much less expensive hotels, just offer courteously. Bottle water in the room $5. Ridiculous parking fee. I don't expect a room with a view of Long Island Sound...but had a vast expense of a tar paper roof. I COULD however see the tips of trees way off it the distance. Then the internet wouldn't connect. The front desk just shoved me off onto an off-shore generic IT help service which after 1 minute I knew that sitting in Bangalore was not going to help me at all getting a WiFi signal from the router downstairs in Greenwich CT. I don't think I will stay an 11th time."
